Johnny Rockets — Restaurant in South Padre Island

Made a pick up order for a Streamliner and a Crispy Chicken Club. We arrived and it looked like they were having a slow day and all standing up near the front not doing anything. We got our order and left.

Once we got back to our room to eat, the sandwich had what looked like either undercooked or soggy bacon on the crispy chicken club and they didn't even give us the streamliner it was some completely different burger.

We called them for a refund on the streamliner and spoke with the manager. They said they don't offer the streamliner anymore, we ordered this on their site so we thought maybe the site wasn't updated. Regardless we wanted a refund because they were just sitting around in the restaurant when we arrived and instead of calling to notify us to potentially adjust our order, they made a completely different burger.

The manager mentioned we could come back and they'd make the streamliner and after we let that sink in we realized why wouldn't they just make it the first time? Furthermore between what was on the incorrect burger and the crispy chicken club we realized the only missing ingredient was pickles. Surely they have pickles. We wanted a refund not another chance for them to fix us food given how poor our experience was thus far.

Johnny Rockets South Padre Island: The zero star is not an option. In short, I will say "Never again". Family of 7. Arriving at 12:20 for lunch. 2 of us are vegan and had confirmed the availability of vegan options before heading there. Our waiter came to us. (I now know his name after reading it on the ticket: O.). High as a kite (just an impression, can't be certain of course), or with as much personality and energy as an elevator door. Ordered 4 milkshakes, 2 were vegan. We place our orders, but no vegan option beside 1 vegan patty (the menu lists plant based burger, daya cheese, vegan milkshakes). At 1pm, we were still waiting for 1 water, appetizer, food... He brings 1 milkshake, and says that they're out of vegan milkshakes... 1:15, still nothing. Mind you, one lady was cooking, 4 waiters were present and only 4 tables occupied. O won the first place in the slowness department and the lack of care for his job. The food finally arrived, it was simply not good. Nasty patties, frozen fries, frozen onion rings, horrendous philly... Never offered a refill, did not check on us, saw us going to ask for a to-go box, and did not do anything. We decided to leave, and went to the counter to ask for our bill. On a counter with spilled strawberry shake, he gave us our ticket. We had to leave a tip, just because, but we should not have. Way to go, $125...

This was our first visit to Johnny Rockets. The burgers were quite delicious. My wife ordered a hot dog, which is very unusual for her. I tried it and felt meh. I've definitely had much better. My float was pretty ordinary. Our main issue was the seating. There were seven of us and we were placed in a corner booth which was perfect. I was on one end and when I stretched to the very edge of the seat to pass the ketchup, my weight on the corner lifted the other end causing me to slip and knock over my float. I sat up and quickly lifted the glass but not before 75% of it ended up on the floor. We cleaned it with napkins as best as we could but our server was no where to be found and we couldn't seem to get anyone's attention for several minutes. There was a big mess on the floor. Finally she returned and we explained what happened. She didn't hesitate to bring me a refill and picked up the mess of napkins on the table but she brought a towel and stretched it around the floor with her foot. The floor really needed to be mopped as she picked up the melted ice cream but there were still streaks and the floor was sticky. Most of us had to step through that spot to leave.
