South Padre Island Texas — Attraction in South Padre Island

Loved south padre so much! Spent a week on the island! The water clarity the first three days we were there was unbelievable! Especially off of the jetty! The island is only 3 streets wide so you have access to everything very easily! Beaches were great! Weather was amazing, first week of June and we had 78 as a low and 90 as a high for an entire week! Amazing! Great view of the SpaceX launch pads to the south, especially from the jetty.. it takes about one hour if you'd like to drive to SpaceX, and see the launch pads up close and personal.all around polite people, amazing beaches, great food,...

We loved South Padre island. The Sand Sculpting Days was a blast. It has been on my bucket list for years. I even got to meet the Amazing Walter and Sandy Feet Lucinda. Both were so nice and I hope this city recognizes what they bring to their area. South Padre has great attractions and restaurants too. From helicopter rides and sand monsters to great bars and food. Had lots of fun and met some wonderful people. Lobo Del Mar was my favorite place to visit with lots of great food to choose from. Definitely get alot for your money with indoor and outdoor dining and live music and friendly staff. Definitely a place to frequent. Second place I'd recommend would be Black Beards and Tom and Jerry's. Lobo Del Mar also has parasailing and fishing charters along with SPI Watersports you have the whole package of food and fun wrapped...
