i hate leaving bad reviews but unfortunately this is the third time i’ve been here and the service was just unacceptable. i have been to dali crepes multiple times and at first before they were super busy, it was great. the service was actually good. the last two times i had been to dine in, was early last year and i understand it was at a busier time but we were not even acknowledged by the staff until i walked up and said something to the cashier after about 15 minutes of waiting patiently. the second time, the servers would just stare at me every time they walked by and i was just in disbelief. i walked up to the cashier to asked to be served after waiting close to 25 minutes. today i was craving some crepes and i thought i should give dali crepes another try since they have really good crepes. i chose to get curbside since dining in is a hassle. i get to the restaurant in the designated curbside parking and click “im here” as prompted on the order screen and nobody comes out for 10 mins. finally my boyfriend had to go inside to grab the food and the workers were just standing around. it wasn’t even busy too. it sucks because i love the food but i will probably never come back. the audacity they have of asking for tips when they can’t even execute the bare minimum of their job is crazy to me. i work in the food industry and this is unacceptable where i work at. hire some better staff or do...
Read moreIt absolutely pains me to give such a low score to Dali Crepes, especially because the food was amazing. But the service was atrocious. I walked in and waiting 20 minutes just to be acknowledged and finally seated, they weren't busy. My server the whole time had an attitude and was rude. The cutlery was basically thrown at me because I asked him to wipe down the table, which was covered in crumbs and whipped cream from the last guest. My spoon came out with something crusty stuck to it, so I only used my fork. By that stage the positive energy and smile I had on my face coming in had left me and I had no intention of asking my server for anything else, but the check when it was time to leave. Normally I wouldn't have stayed 5 minutes after such treatment. But I really wanted to try out the crepes. I actually got the attention of another server in a different section and they took my order. The Montenegro was the perfect breakfast crepe! I would eat it everyday if I could. I realize that Nutella is much more known as a brand. But trust me and try the Eurocream Crepe instead. 😉 The coffee was a bit bland but the green tea shake was delicious. As soon as I was done eating I paid and left. It's just such a shame especially after all the hard work the owner put in, into opening this place and perfecting his dishes, that the customers are being mistreated by unprofessional and...
Read moreWhen I came in this evening to place an order to go, I walked up to the girl with black hair who was standing at the register and she walked away from me and didn't acknowledge me at all. Her customer service is so unprofessional. She's the first face I saw walking in and I felt very uncomfortable from her actions. She blatantly ignored me and let someone else take my order. She ignored me the entire time I was there and didn't say 1 word to me. She seemed like she was very angry. I don't have words for how unprofessional she was towards me. I understand it was a holiday and it was pretty busy for all of the other workers I saw but she was the only person I saw not doing her job. She stood and watched as a few of the other workers seemingly were falling behind at getting the orders out and I could hear her demanding them to get certain orders out without so much as a please. If this job makes her this miserable and causes her to lash out, she isn't a good fit for what seems to be of a higher position than the rest of the workers. I hate to give such a low score to such an amazing place, but she ruined the experience for me today. The next time I come in, I can hope she isn't up front again . She's not the type of person one should encounter when you first walk through the doors and are expecting a warm invitation. You'll be disappointed. Everything...
