BEST dessert so far! We've had many shaved ice/snow tower/snow fluff/etc & this one takes the cake!! For $12 it's a bit pricey but well worth the QUALITY. It truly was 'fluff' with a la mode (ice cream) a ton of mango (fresh) that was soaked in a well done syrup that only added to it!! It made it clump into icy bits as it melted, so delightful! Plus there was a large portion of it. Husband & I were for the 1st time not feeling like we were rushing to have enough 🤣 Spicy pork was well portioned with great amount of meat. Loved the bento style layout. Kimchi is really good & the glass noodles are well flavored. Gyoza was crunchy & delish. Appreciated the rice to filling ratio on the Stun Kimbap, great vegan option Tteokbokki is the only complaint I had; sauce was a bit watery & way too sweet for my liking. Mostly packed with rice noodles & 2 thin pieces of fish cake...TT_TT however, very much noticed & appreciated the boiled egg that was cooked perfectly; it was so soft & tender for a boiled egg. Not a single restaurant I've ever been to has impressed me with a boiled egg 😋 😅 Overall, great place with high quality & standards. Also, quick & attentitive service! Highly recommend!!!

Stun Cube was a place I really wanted to like. Came here with high expectations but was let down in the end. I was here with my family and ordered a variety of items to try and most all ended up average. We had the kimchi mandu which was served in a small basket with a small dipping sauce. The presentation was not great and the flavor was OK. We also had the spicy pork gimbop which was big and good but not spicy at all. Son had the spicy pork cube dish which was not spicy at all and very average. The sides were OK with the kimchi being the best of the three. The japchae side was mainly noodles and had a heavy pepper flavor. The potato side was OK. Rice was good on all dishes and fresh from the cooker. My wife had the hot bowl bimbop which was average and had the potato and japchae side with no kimchi. I had the Korean hot chicken which had a decent sauce flavor but not spicy at all. The chicken pieces were not trimmed well and had some chewing parts to them. Overall a place worth getting gimbop at and maybe trying another dish if you do not like spicy stuff to give a final 3 star rating from me.

It’s a cute mom and pop kind of restaurant. I was visiting SLC with friends and wanted a quick bite on our way from the mountains to the airport. Tried this place and liked it was pretty quick, good food. They serve bento style food and fast-casual counter service (you walk up to the counter and order). The food was like what your mom would cook at home. The prices were fair but I thought the portion was kinda small. My friend’s bulgogi bento box was good - with 3 side dishes and fruit for dessert, but the amount of beef looked small for the rice. I ordered pork cutlet over rice and it came out with salad and pickled radish but no kimchi or other side dishes. I asked the owner if I needed to buy kimchi as a side dish and he just gave it to me (guess a part of reason is because I’m Korean). But I still wish kimchi came with every dish since koreans don’t eat rice without kimchi. Maybe their main customers are not Koreans? I don’t know. The owner was very nice and friendly. Enjoyed a short conversation with him. Overall I enjoyed this Korean food in SLC except the small portion.

So happy we found this place! I’ve always loved Korean food but I’ve never had the chance to try Tteokbokki! It’s exactly how I thought it would taste. The sauce and the rice cakes and sausages were delicious! Mandu was perfectly crispy on the outside with a yummy filling. Also loved the beef bulgogi and the Korean Fried Chicken which are the best I’ve ever had. I could eat the kimchi and the cucumbers all day. Everything we ate was scrumptious! Very generous portions too! Hands down the best authentic Korean restaurant in the valley! Can’t wait to come back and try other items! Also, friendly staff and I like how clean it is!

Wow! Very authentic, spicy, flavorful Korean food! The sides and sauces are spicy, but not too spicy you can't enjoy the food, it actually enhances the food. It's small and family owned and the cashier was very helpful in providing instructions on how to traditionally assemble and eat the food. Food was made right in front of us and very fresh! We had the Fermented Squid (side dish), the Bibimbap (veggie rice bowl), and Tteokbokki (ramen & rice cakes) and it was a delicious adventurous experience! Will be back to try the rest of the menu! They have vegan options if you modify a few things 👌.

Right off the bat I need to mention that the people working are always so incredibly friendly. I love going in because it’s just a pleasant experience. I ordered the bibimbap and stun kimbap. The food is so simple yet so flavorful and thoughtfully prepared. The kimbap is fresh and perfectly rolled with a nice soft egg and crisp veggies. The bibimbap is just a bowl of happiness. Perfectly sunny egg, the rice is amazing and so is the bulgogi beef. They also serve the bowl with a side of kimchi and gochujang which add amazing depth. Just a great option for some clean and comforting food.
