Driving on the state st southbound crossing the 2700, a small shop called fresh donuts call the attention of tens of drivers in search of a sweet good morning. After the main door it smells like fry oil, looks like clean but then I see the rear door wide open. Roaches loves that place so sweet full of food. A small young lady, apparently have lost her smile behind the mask. She serve without a hair cover, you can see her hair really greasy, poor creature maybe she is not a morning person. I understand that one can be nervous at 4 am. why she looks like is doing the favor of selling you croissants? Two croissant crunchy as a wet rag, so soft that it never saw the oven. Surprisingly each croissant cost $2.75 plus tax is $3 each. Three crunchy dollars for two slimy pathetic “croissant”. Croissant comes from croquet, crunchy. I asked how much cost one and she point her small sharp eyes on me like” hey I wake up at three to serve you two croissants etc etc” . Two point seventy five American bucks for two bedraggled croissant. The most expensive because donuts cost $1.49 and filled cost $0.40 on top. $1.89 filled creamy crunchy cakes. Unsatisfied of her answer she followed me in the parking lot like kicking me out. Well I want to say I never experienced so much greasy hair with no cap, so much abusive affection to check if I’m going away, so much slimy bedraggled old rag called croissant in my entire life. With $3 dollars at 7/11 I had my breakfast with donut and coffee and the lady in charge smiles so nicely, she chirped have a great day too. Maybe is not the same quality but kindness and personal clean makes the difference to me. Adios miss Sausage, I don’t need your cholesterol! Buddy and Muddy you won’t have my...
Read moreI pass by this donut shop for many years on my way to work in the morning, this donut shop's parking lot is always packed and I saw patrons walked in there. Because I'm on my way to work, I never did make a stop to check out their donuts until this morning. Something prompted me to pull over.
I'm soooooo glad I did. The second I walked in, it feels cozy because it's a small shop and I felt this shop is nostalgic, down to earth, I liked the atmosphere/comfortable setting.
The lady behind the counter was nice, friendly, promptly greeted me, ready to take my half dozen order, she was swift, work efficiently, well liked.
When I left, I had a fun decorative colorful donut box in hand, couldn't wait to eat them. I was delighted!
Arrived to work, ou-la-la, the donuts are outstanding and walked the RED CARPET, hands down the BEST donuts I've ever tasted, fluffy, fresh, soft as clouds, not the heavy type of donuts at all, has good yummy delicious flavors, unlike some other donut shops, just sugary or fill you up with sugar; lack taste and flavors.
Not at Fresh Donuts & Deli, their donuts truly is out of this world !!!! It's that good. My mouth was so happy, did a tap dance 💃 🕺I started my morning super fantastic because these donuts made me so happy, work became even more productive at work.
For anyone who gets up so early to make donuts 🍩 for customers, they need to be recognized for their hard work, dedication; we show our thanks and appreciation. 5:00am-5:00pm makes a long work day.
Without question, will be back. Told my coworkers, friends and family about this place and how amazing their donuts are !
Thank you so much for making such incredible tasty donut 🍩 and serving the general...
Read moreFresh Donuts & Deli is hailed as one of the, if not the outright, best donuts in the state. Are they worth they hype?
In short, yes! Fresh Donuts and Deli is a stellar addition to any “best of” list, with donuts ranging from simple (Standard raised ‘n glazed) to “fancy” (Apple pie filled coconut crusted bear claws), with an unassuming location that focuses on the product first. The folks here know their business and are efficient, which is especially good news because you may well encounter a line when you visit.
The raised donuts have an excellent outside crust that is buttery and sweet, providing a nice texture composition with soft and fluffly inside. Pro tip: for the raised donuts, put them in the microwave for 5-10 seconds! They almost melt in your mouth. The cake donuts are quite buttery and dense, and honestly a little dryer than expected based on the succulence of the raised donuts. This may be the one area where the argument can be made in Banbury Cross’ favor: the cake donuts there remain unbeaten in Utah.
But for raised donuts or donut holes with excellent texture and flavor, look no further than Utah’s own Fresh Donuts and Deli. Make sure whomever you bring along is a very treasured friend, because you won’t...
