McDonald's in Brigham City, UT - A Horrible Experience from Start to Finish
Where do I even begin with the McDonaldâs in Brigham City, UT? I wish I could unsee the experience. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treatâif that treat were the stuff of nightmares. The place was filthy; I donât think the floor had been cleaned in weeks. The sticky tables were scattered with old wrappers and crumbs, as if they were trying to set a record for how many germs could be collected in one location.
The service? Nonexistent would be a compliment. The staff looked like they were auditioning for a zombie movie, moving at a speed that would make a tortoise proud. After standing at the counter for what felt like an eternity, I finally got to place my order, only to be met with a blank stare and a grunt. And donât even get me started on the wait time! I could have driven to the next town, ordered a meal, and come back before they finished making my sad excuse for a burger.
Speaking of the food, I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. My "hot" burger was lukewarm at best, with a sad, wilted piece of lettuce that looked like it had been through a war. The fries were cold, soggy, and tasted like theyâd been reheated multiple times. The soda machine was out of half the flavors, and the one I ended up with tasted like carbonated dishwater.
To top it all off, the restroom was out of order, and when I asked for directions to the nearest one, I was met with a shrug and a mumbled, âI donât know.â The lack of cleanliness, the attitude, and the terrible food make this place a disaster zone. Save your time, money, and stomachâgo anywhere else. McDonaldâs in Brigham City is a place to be avoided...
Read moreOrdered online so I could get food quick and go home after a late night at work. Turns out the lobby was closed even though the app let me order for pickup in lobby. I would've gone somewhere else if I had known this because I know their drive thru is always super slow and backed up. When I finally got to the speaker, it turns out my order never made it through the app. When I got to the window, the receipt disappeared from the app completely. I had to pay again and wait for a refund from the mobile order, which I didn't understand until I was at the window because I couldn't understand the person through the drive thru speaker. In the end the manager helped me out and still gave me close to the same discount I had on my app order, but it still took me about 40 minutes to get through the drive thru (at 11pm), where I was totally stuck and couldn't turn out. To top it all off, my fries were cold when I finally got to eat them
I also frequently have them get my order wrong here - asking for no cheese is like playing Russian Roulette with a burger. I stop here occasionally since it is directly on my way home from work and always order no cheese (app or in person), sometimes I can get 5 orders in a row with no cheese, other times I get 3 in a row with cheese.
I try to be understanding at restaurants, especially fast food. Mistakes happen and it's often hard to find good employees. But this location has gotten me too many times at this point, I don't think I'll be going back. I'll drive out of my way to go to a different one if I really want McDonald's as long as I don't have to...
Read moreUPDATE: Visited location again 6 days ago for breakfast (a friend lives in the area), ordered the same thing just about everyone else orders in the morning... 2 for $4 breakfast sandwiches, specifically; the Sausage McMuffin with Egg. Also ordered 2 coffees. When I got back to my friend's apartment and opened up the bag, can you believe there was only 1 motherf** Goddam* son of a bit sandwich in the bag! It almost sent me over the edge... absolutely unbelievable and unacceptable, 33rd McD! You should be ashamed of yourselvesđ.
The Inspiration Behind PASS/FAIL. I never know what to expect at this location, because they're only consistently ever in being inconsistent. I placed a mobile order in an effort to save time, but mistakenly chose drive up as my pickup location. When I saw it was packed, it was too late because I was quickly ensnared by the cars behind me, and a newly installed 12" high curb in front of me, blocking access to the parking lot the building next door. I didn't worry too about it at first, as I was the second car behind the order placement speaker, positioning me somewhere between 6th and 7th for the food pickup window. ... during that long 20+ MINUTE wait, a fight nearly broke out two cars behind me, the bloke working drive up gave a lot of 'tude, and I doubled the cost of my meal burning gas in idle (full size SUV). Food warmth...
