Was visiting the Washington, PA area with my family on Wednesday, October 29th and stopped at this location for lunch between 2-3pm. Food was great however service was atrocious. I hate to complain but the issue needs to be addressed. When we went through the drive-thru, the server was absolutely horrible. We couldn't believe how rude. Every time we tried to tell him what we wanted he started moving away from the car and kept telling us to "keep moving, keep moving." I kept trying to tell him what I wanted and he would start walking away from me right in the middle of my order and interrupt by ordering us to keep moving. So, I had to constantly keep driving forward trying to catch up with him...it was ridiculous. I have never encountered this at any Chick-fil-A location in my entire life. I also noticed the girl taking orders ahead of him was standing still, allowing the customer in front of us to stay stationary in their vehicle. The receipt we got said the server was Brandon, not sure if that was the guy or if that was on of the ones inside the restaurant who literally handed us the food, so I don't want to get the wrong guy in trouble. This server had glasses and a cap on. He was rude and inconsiderate. You don't treat customers that way. Won't be stopping here next...
Read moreChick-fil-A is easily one of my favorite places to eat, and normally I’d give it a solid 5 stars. However, I’m giving this particular location 4 stars due to one frustrating issue: inconsistent handling of the veteran discount.
I’ve visited this Chick-fil-A many times, and the experience is hit-or-miss when it comes to the discount. Some days I’ve received 10% off, other times they’ve generously comped the entire meal, and then there are times they’ve said you have to be in uniform — which doesn’t make sense for a veteran. Veterans don’t wear uniforms. If it’s an active-duty discount, just call it that. I don’t expect any business to offer a discount — but if you advertise or honor one, consistency matters. The inconsistency creates confusion and takes away from an otherwise great experience.
That said, the food is excellent, as expected from Chick-fil-A — hot, fresh, and flavorful. The restaurant is always busy, but the operation runs like a well-oiled machine. Staff are friendly, service is efficient, and the location is clean and organized.
If it weren’t for the mixed messaging around the veteran discount, this location would absolutely earn 5 stars. Still, I’ll continue to eat here because the quality of food and service...
Read moreUpdate: they've been better about this lately so I'm adding back a star, keep it up and I'll add more back. Original review: Been to many chick fila in different places and this one would be about average except that most of the drive through workers don't understand they should try to move quickly and pull cars ahead or walk the food to the next car. I pull up and see my order and others sitting there waiting after watching them talk with the person in the car or take 3 payments from people in one car while others sit there watching. Also, very hit or miss on food too, get the same chicken biscuit a lot and lately it's usually a thin small piece that doesn't cover the biscuit. Sometimes it's juicy and good like it should be but that's getting more rare I think. Today I got minis with no chick fila sauce and no straw for my drink and it clearly says 2 sauce right on my order receipt. Had a few times I got unsweet tea or something that wasn't sweet tea and I didn't like...
