Filippo's Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in South Williamsport

We went here for dinner last night, 10/31/21. Wanted to order a medium Filippo's Special pizza plus drinks. The medium Special was priced at $20/$22 something. When we placed our order with the waitress she said she believed that they were out of pizza because they had been extremely busy all day with pizza orders but she would check and see if they had enough ingredients or whatever to make one more pizza. She went to check, when she returned she said "We only have 4 slices of cheese pizza left if you want them, we can put anything you want on them." Since it was just me, my husband, and our 2 grandboys and we needed to have dinner...we ordered the 4 slices and told them to put the toppings that come on their Special pizza on them. Now I wish we hadn't. Pizza was lousy, toppings were cold, and they charged us $8.50 PER SLICE!!! It ended up costing us more money for those FOUR SLICES and DRINKS and GARLIC BREAD than it would have if we had been able to order a whole pizza!! Oh, and btw we were there at 8:10 pm when they close at 9 pm. My question is this...Why would an Italian Restaurant have 4 slices of pizza 🍕 left??? Unless it is pre-made and sits out and then reheated!! Also, why would they not use fresh mushrooms instead of cold canned mushrooms on their pizza and why picked green and red peppers? Worse pizza 🍕 we have ever eaten!!! ...

This is by far the worst restraunt ever !! If they keep up at the pace they are going they arent going to be around much longer , and I know we are NOT the only ones with issues

We tend to try and eat there 1 time a month but as of late they can NOT seem to get an order straight . The straw that broke the camels back is simple as was the order ! We ordered subs with extra tomatoes , and one with extra mayo and light lettuce and swiss cheese , let me start by saying the sub with extra tomatoes had NONE , and they were very non chalant about it I needed to eat as my sugar was dropping , thier answer was to eat something else bring the sub back to slap some tomatoes on wasting gas, time and making me sicker ! So I eat something else thus ruining dinner ! The other one they refused to fix ! Keep in mind that this is not the 1st time of many screw ups but this is the 1st time we said something as we were sick of them messing up our orders . A person/customer should get what they ORDER ..The time before I got sick from contaminated food with seafood as I have an allergy to sea food . The time before that was undercooked meat . To skipping us to serve people that arrived AFTER us . We have decided this place is no longer worth it ... Save your...

I LOVE SITTING AT THEIR TOILET TABLE!!!

They have a table with a seat right inbetween the restroom door and the rest of the restaurant.

Anyone going into or coming out of the bathroom literally has to walk around you each way. You can hear POO plopping into the water from this seat. Staff seated my wife and I at this table. I requested to move, and despite there being 5+ open tables they then sat us at the one right in front of the kitchen!!! Staff going in and out constantly… for 200+ years it’s been common knowledge that those are the worst places to put tables let alone seat people at them when there are others available. It takes 2 seconds to wipe and sanitize another clear table. guess no one here ever had a day of formal restaurant training in their life and common sense is in short supply in these red counties… after making decisions like those I fear what decisions are being made in that kitchen. I was so disgusted I couldn’t order anything but fried food that’d been sanitized by boiling oil.

Edit: also their pre meal bread tasted worse than any of the other Italian restaurants...
