The employee Thomas nearly got us out the door as quickly as we came in with his demeanor and attitude. He never spoke or said hello, just walked up to the counter frowning to take the order. Weād never been inside before, so, I didnāt even know he was waiting to take our order- My first visit (and probably last) to this location. My wife asked about brisket salad sheād tried previously at other Dickies, which he responded āNo, the only salad this place has is potato salad.ā No sense of humor, just condescending attitude. She also asked about a few other things and the gentleman was never remotely pleasant or inviting. This was at 8pm, one other family was inside and no one was behind us in line.
My sonās chicken was raw and ice cold when served. The lady who served it, the only other employee besides Thomas, was a trainee who did not know how to refund us. When she asked Thomas about a refund, again he was rude, to her and my wife, said he didnāt know how to, and proceeded to kick something after my wife walked away. The trainee was exceptionally nice and doing her best. She remade the chicken and was very apologetic.
I must say the brisket my wife and I were served was excellent. As a former restaurant owner, current business owner, and just a dude who wants good food, I sincerely advise you dear franchise owner to retrain or rehire for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent in, first time ever, probably last. There was no foot traffic or cars outside, so was curious even open. Went in and greeted immediately where I asked if they were open, she said yes but was slow. Cool, no biggie. Ordered food for me, my wife, and son, came up to $68 then tipped 15%. So we are talking texas roadhouse and outback prices. Food should be great, WRONG. I got a tiny sliver of brisket and little piece of turkey for the 2 meat plate, I was mindblown, my son got the same thing, (mime and his plates pictured) same portion. My wife barely ate hers (pulled pork) because it was not good at all. The mac n cheese was good but tasted like hours old and cold, the baked beans can't hold a candle to Bush's you get from a can, green beans tasted out of a can. Food was below subpar at best best. The only saving grace was the staff. The black girl with glasses was an absolute sweet heart and so was her co worker, but she stood out tremendously, which is why I didn't say anything, I didn't want to ruin her day knowing it was slow and she probably wasn't making alot with tips. But my biggest gripe is portion size for the price. You pay that kind of money, you should walk out full....I went home...
Read moreOrdered a meal for my family from here to go. Got the pick 2 meats plate ($21 pre-tax) with jalapeño cheddar kielbasa and pork ribs, sides were mac and cheese and loaded potatoes with gravy (the gravy was missing). When I checked the box, it was four slices of the regular kielbasa so maybe half of one link (wrong one) and two individual ribs that were as dry as they looked. The second meal was a pick 1 meat plate ($19 pre-tax) with the regular kielbasa, mac and cheese, and bbq beans. Was told it all tasted fine. Looked like she actually got a full serving as well. Third meal was a bbq sandwich combo with fries and a drink ($15 pre-tax). The bbq was supposed to have coleslaw and original bbq sauce, but it was sauceless and only like a tablespoons worth of slaw slapped in the middle. The fries were somehow already cold and soggy, they tasted exactly like Wingstop's plain fries (not a good thing).
Overall it was crazy how much was paid for all three meals when only one person's food was actually both correct and tasted "fine." I will say the plain kielbasa tasted good, but I wish I had that jalapeƱo that I ordered. I am not sure I would...
