Goodberry's Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Southern Pines

I went with my husband and kids today, we got the most fantastic concreted ever! Firstly, we were greeted by Regan who showed us fantastic customer service, was amazing with kids, and she recommended her favorite concrete! Then we watched as a girl carefully mixed all of our concretes, making sure that it was clean and not dripping. She even amused our kids by flipping the concretes upside down, the kids LOVED IT. I recommend the campfire concrete for children, and i personally LOVED the ACC and my husband loved the Gbpb. UPDATE: We went back yesterday afternoon and the service has gone down hill. They seem entirely understaffed, and the staff they do have has no interest in being helpful. We waited FOREVER for our ice cream and when we received it, it was like soup. It’s so unfortunate how downhill this place has become, when they originally opened it seemed to have a lot of potential, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they ended up shutting down within the year. The taller, bigger man, who I am assuming was a manager, had no urgency in helping us, and when we light heartedly mentioned the soupy ice cream, he seemed annoyed and walked off. I left one star because the taste of what I picked out was spot on. However the service was lacking. We ordered two items and patiently waited for them to be made, as there had been a line ahead of us when we walked in. Called out our name and only gave my husband his. Without any acknowledgement of me and why I was still standing at the counter the employee walked back to the register and started taking other orders. Meanwhile what I believe is mine is sitting on the back Counter. Another customer walks in and she is asked if she is here for a pick-up. The customer says yes, and the employee proceeds to start looking for the pickup order. So I speak up and ask if they have my order ready. It turns out that what I thought was mine was mine, apparently there was something wrong with it. They decide to add something else to it... mix it again and she hands it to me without turning it upside down. I grab a napkin and walk out with it, only to discover it is basically cold soup. Tastes good but I didn't order a milkshake. At this point i don't want to deal with it, I'm just exceedingly disappointed. We bring it home and I put it in the freezer. Not sure we will go back as we have so many options in...

We were so excited when Goodberrys Frozen Custard came to Southern Pines North Carolina !!! The frozen custard, and all the variations of flavors and toppings are all delicious! I have been in many times since the opening of the store in November 2024. All of the staff are so friendly and kind . And they are very patient as my grandchildren tried to decide what they want!! This store is awesome, the custard is delicious and the staff is even better. We were helped by Paula and Marissa on our last visit.. They were so helpful and friendly. Tell them, thank you!
