Normally i dont write reviews but i was a bit heated today, I orders a Pitching online and added some veggies and made sure to write no onions. Im allergic to onions and i know the menu doesnt say it has onions but over the years ive made it a habit to write no onions. After placing the order a friend of mine wanted the pitching as well. I didnt write no onions on it. We had a friend pick up the meals and when they came the bag reeked of onions. When i opened them mine was just filled with onions and my friends had a few onions. I called the website number for over an hour as well as had a friend call. No one answered, once someone picked up and hung up. The rest of the time it went to a automated message that said you could not leave a message. Im at work and was unable to run out to the restaurant. I had a friend that went with pitching filled with onions and showed the young man who was working today (7.23.2020 - my receipt said evan?). When she explained what happened he was so rude and kept telling her the pitching doesn't come with onions and argued about the order. Finally he said if i came i could have the sandwich. She let him know the phones weren't working as well and he just shrugged it off. I ended up be able to leave for a few and when i got there he was very friendly with the other people that looked his age, when i explained who i was he sort of threw the bag at me.
The correct sandwich was amazing but the costumer service left way more to be desired. Outside the doors are signs saying call in your order. I didnt hear the phone ring at all while i was there.
EDIT I wanted to edit my review, although i did not have a good experience but the owner reached out to me on facebook and my friends husband went to speak with them. evan apologized to my friend husband saying it was a bad day and the owner gave me a free meal coupon. I look forward to getting my meal because the food...
Read more10/10 sandwich shop….for regular and GLUTEN FREE sandwiches! While on vacation this week my husband and I decided to give Wedgies a try after seeing good reviews and that they offered a gluten free bread (a homemade GF pizza crust here). We LOVED it. The perfect lunch after a morning on the golf course. It was so good we came back a couple days later before leaving town. The concept is that the owner has a great pizza crust recipe (& a GF pizza crust recipe) and has discovered that it makes impeccable hot sandwiches. They have a large variety of sandwiches. We tried the BIRDIE (chicken salad), the PITCHING (club), and the PORKY (bbq). All were quite delicious. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was great. The owner was there making sandwiches both days and ready to help newcomers navigate the menu and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our meal. What was most impressive to me, as someone with celiac, is that they have a completely separate gluten free sandwich station, which ensured I could eat safely. I can’t tell you how helpful this is for someone who struggles to find food on vacation and at home. My only complaint is that they offer Miss Vickie’s chips, which are not gluten free, per their own website. But I will not take away a single star because the food was too delicious. It’s on the side of a gas station, but don’t let that deter you. Plenty of seating indoor and out, and perfectly situated in the middle of many nice golf courses. If you’re in Pinehurst you’ve gotta...

I placed an online order (#164117699) today for a Niblik, a New Yorker on rye, potato salad and broccoli salad. When we got home the potato salad and broccoli salad were missing; the New Yorker was on white bread.
The primary reason I am writing this review is solely based on the attitude of the person in charge on 12/12/21 at 12:50pm. My husband called and asked to speak to the manager on duty. In the background he heard someone say, “I don’t have time to speak to anyone”.
A few minutes later the individual comes to the phone. My husband explained what was wrong with the order. He offered for us to drive back (30 minute drive) to pickup the sides. Regarding not having rye bread for the New Yorker, he said, “Unless you say rye, we do white.” My husband responded that he has the online order receipt right in front of him and clearly sees the order requested rye. Surprisingly, the manager then said, “Well, we don’t have rye anymore.”
Exasperated, my husband said we will be taking our business elsewhere in the future to which the manager responded, “Okay, fine”. No apology whatsoever. We indeed will not be back.
Update: I received a refund of $9.08; not sure what that is for...possibly the New Yorker plus tax. No refund for the two sides we...
