First and last visit. I came in today for a pickup order and legit watched one person be on their phone , one person attempt to make a burrito and then proceed to sneeze all over the food (keep in mind there was already a man waiting ahead of me) and then the other person sitting at a table talking on the phone. The girl that was making the burrito walked to the back without saying a word After the delivery of their stock came in is when he decided to get up and assist. I told him I was literally there just to pick up an order and gave him my name. The bowls were right there on the counter in front to him. He acted like I was an inconvenience to his day. This is the third time this has happened. Shame on me for going back. Iām going to say this and Idgaf who gets offended but as another black person it is embarrassing to constantly go into establishment after establishment where black employees are primarily employed and get the same piss poor results. As long as the establishment is primarily employed by black employees service will always be trash, the girls will always look you up and down like theyāre ready to fight and if you speak up itās a problem. Almost a year ago, there were young ladies working there who handled both the front end and the kitchen effortlessly: they re-filled a large order for me at the last minute due to an error with my credit card, they listened to customer requests and were very knowledgeable about the offerings, costs, and procedures. I ALWAYS tipped them well because of their stellar service. I visited a few months ago and had issues getting my order of three-cheese nachos fixed the way that I requested (new workers): continually questioning about every request even though I pay well for ALL extras, skimping on the chips, on the melted cheese, on the toppings, etc. So, I began going to the Farmington Hills location on 12 Mile and Farmington Road, so that I could get what I wanted without the hassle. Today, I HAD to go to the Evergreen location in Southfield because it was closer. More new employees in hijab BOTH EATING chips and guac at the register/front end in full view of customers!! I was both repulsed and dumbfounded. Like, don't they have a break room? Or at least the common decency when they see a customer approaching the establishment, to put their snack down under the counter until they complete their service?? Like many others have stated for this location, only one person was wearing their mask, and they were wearing it on their chinā¦., what is the point of that? I asked for chicken, which was burned, so I asked one of the employees to please take off some of the burnt pieces of chicken she just put on my burrito. She took one piece off, then proceeded to give me another scoop of burnt chicken onto the burrito. Also, I have not been to Qdoba in a while, and there were many new salsa options that I was interested in. I asked what kind of new salsa options they had, and the employee just shrugged and said she I just started working there. It shouldnāt matter if you just started working there, shouldnāt your employees be trained to know any and all toppings??? Not only did my burrito taste off, like it was old or something, there are many pieces of burnt chicken inside, and even just burnt fragments! Disgusting! Years ago this location didnāt have a problem but itās obvious they donāt care about training people or keeping the location clean.
