Jerusalem Pizza — Restaurant in Southfield

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at Jerusalem Pizza, and I must say, it was a disappointing outing from start to finish. Upon entering, I was greeted by an unenthusiastic staff that seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than attending to customers. The service was slow, and when I finally placed my order, I felt rushed, as if my presence was an inconvenience.

Now, onto the pizza itself. I ordered a classic Margherita, expecting fresh ingredients and a flavorful crust. Instead, I was served a soggy, tasteless mess. The dough had an unpleasant, bland flavor and was far from the crispy edge I was hoping for. The tomato sauce was overly sweet, lacking the tanginess that should characterize a good pizza. The cheese was rubbery, and I couldn’t discern any hint of quality in the ingredients.

To top it all off, the place had an unclean atmosphere, with tables that appeared to have not been wiped down properly. Overall, my experience at Jerusalem Pizza was disappointing, and I would certainly not recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal. There are plenty of other pizza places in town that offer much better quality and service...

I have been a customer of Jerusalem Pizza and its owner Brian Jacobs, the King of Kosher, for many years - since the beginning. The pizza is excellent as are the sandwiches, soups, chili, and pretty much everything on the menu. There is tremendous variety and creativity on the menu, and I've never had anything that wasn't very good to excellent. There are many kinds of very interesting pizzas and toppings you won't ever find anywhere else. Brian is a mensch and he, his wife, Rivka, and staff are very nice and professional. They treat everyone with respect. It is a pleasure to patronize this establishment. You will never be disappointed. I have never had a single bad experience in many, many years of ordering from this restaurant. I've been a customer for at least two decades, probably more. And I've even had business meetings with clients there. You will be happy you tried this place. Great kosher food and just plain great food in its own right. You don't have to be Jewish to eat there. (For vegans and vegetarians, they have mock meat and chicken toppings that are animal-free. ...

Customer service was great over the phone and in person. Ill start off by pointing out the dirtiness of the store. As you walk in you can tell the lobby and kitchen area gets cleaned only when they close if that. Very nasty and does not look good at all. My experience with kosher places of business has been amazing all these years until this place. Normally they are very clean and the food doesnt mess you up at all. I ordered 2 gluten free pizzas. The first had anchovies and red onion, the second had ground beed and green peppers. None of the 2 pizzas were cut into slices🤔. Both were burned around the edges. The anchovies tasted good but the other pizza had a very wierd taste. As soon as i finished both pizzas i spent the next 6 or 7 hours running back and forth to the bathroom. I dont know what happend but this place should have the city come and inspect their store. I appreciate them having gluten free as an option but whatever i experienced was NOT a good...
