Michigan Coffee + Creamery Co. (Now The Bev) — Restaurant in Southfield Township

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon for some coffee with a friend. The rose cardamom iced latte is perfection! I believe I met one of the owners as he was preparing my drink. I told him that I was at another coffee shop earlier in the week and I tried a similar one, but the rose cardamom latte from Michigan coffee and creamery was fantastic! I would definitely go out of my way again to Stop by here and get a drink. I came to see the owners Patty and Chris from Connecticut. Patty used to make cookies and candy for me every year. It was so fun to see them in there element! When we arrived they were testing out some new food items in the back. They let us taste the incredible new grilled cheese. Delish!!! Then I ordered a hot mulled cider that took me back to my childhood. Everything they bake is fresh and perfectly prepared. The young lady at the counter couldn’t have been any nicer. Good coffee, great ice cream. It's attached to the bar next door, so you can get a beer and then get ice cream or whatever you prefer without leaving the building! The atmosphere is cozy, a great place to sit and relax if you're not in a rush; they even have board games! They have a nice selection of regular and specialty drinks, but the most notable items on their menu are unique ice cream flavors from Brown dog. The s'mores ice cream was amazing! The employee who helped me was friendly and even recommended one of the specialty drinks....
