I just had the absolute WORST Starbucks experience ever. I don't know the order number because they didn't give me a receipt nor was there a sticker on my drink. I ordered a caramel frap with Almond milk, no whipped cream. I get my drink and it looks extremely light and icy. After tasting it, it taste like milk and ice. I informed the drive thru attendant and she was extremely, EXTREMELY dry. She said it should be fine because it had caramel drizzle. Ma'am, my coffee drink is white. It doesn't taste good. She told me to pull around for a remake. Normally, a remake is top priority right? No. Not in this instance. After sitting there, I had to go in and ask about my remake. The barista starts making a drink with white milk. I figured it couldn't be mine because I asked for Almond. Nope. It was mine. I was short for time and didn't want to wait for a remake so I decided to taste the drink to see if it was better. No. The only thing I could taste was milk. I asked for a refund. Remember when I said I didn't get a receipt and there was no sticker on my original drink? Now they're scrambling trying to find out my order. When they finally just pulled the cost on the register. Now she wants the card that I pay with and don't just give me the refund in cash. So me, already pressed for time, has to go back to the car. I wasn't offered a comp card, nor an apology. I placed my order today at 11:00am ish. EVERYONE in the store was horrible. Even the (I assume) store manager who was there for the interaction and he offered nothing. Read moreI have been in drive thru line for 13 minutes behind 6 cars. The car at the ordering screen when I arrived, finally moved after about 5 minutes. Then the next car sat at the ordering screen because they always ask you to wait if they just took an order. Apparently multitasking is not a skill at this location. At the same time, a woman walked inside and came out with 2 drinks before the second car even started ordering. As this woman was driving away I saw the person at the screen was finally getting the chance to order. This is the worst Starbucks. This is absolutely ridiculous. Multiple times they hear my order incorrectly but do not put it on the screen for me to verify. Many times I have sat at the drive-through window being told to wait one moment because they just took someone's order. It's 8 o'clock in the morning, you should know people are going to be coming to get drinks and food. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. You're in such a busy area of Southfield, you're in the Comerica parking lot! How are you not prepared for your morning rush??? I can't even say just the morning though. Read moreI LOVE coffee and LOVE Starbucks, but this location is not up to standard. I did a mobile order and arrived 15 minutes after the order was supposed to be ready, and after waiting about 5 minutes in the store, I was told it would be another 10-15 minutes because they were behind. I asked to cancel my order and was told that I needed to go online because they didn't have time to do so. I decided to give them another chance the next day and although my drink was ready on-time it wasn't the best quality (didn't taste right). The next day (yup one more chance) I went and the drive-thru was packed, I only wanted a black coffee so I decided to run inside because there was no one inside. It took a while to get acknowledged and service. I ordered a grande black coffee in a venti cup and the barista seemed confused. Now, I'm done, lol! Thank goodness there a literally 3 more Starbucks in the area about 5 minutes from this location. During my visit I will say I went to the other 3 and never experienced issues even when they were busy. Save yourself the frustration and drive an extra 2-5 minutes, depending on the direction...
