Worse experience at a 5 Guys I ever had. I placed an order online, arrived, ignored that the floors are so sticky you can hear them when you walk. The lady at the front told me I only had 1 meal, despite my receipt and me paying for 2 meals. I asked another woman there who confirmed it meant I had 2 meals. I told the lady hey you are going to have to learn to read the receipts. She started cussing at me about she "not giving a shit" I tried to tell her that was inappropriate behavior towards a customer. The manager completely ignored her behaviors and told me it was my fault for saying anything to her. I asked for a refund she said it would be 5-7 days I informed her it wasn't fair to me that they were the ones running me off and that I would have to wait 5-7 days to eat. She called a man who was said to be the district manager. He laughed with her, I said it is not funny. He cut me off to say what did I expect that is with any credit card company. I was in total shock and disbelief. Meanwhile the lady who was upset over the feedback continued to cuss loudly while standing talking to other staff- not towards me but for everyone to hear her. I put my head down and just shock it before walking out. No food, still haven't gotten a refund. It was almost like a Saturday night live comedy show and a sick skit. I understand everyone is desperate for staff but come on I am sure they can do better or at least train the staff on customer service and appropriate...
Read moreMy local Five Guys is temporarily closed so I ventured over to the Southfield location to grab dinner the other night, strictly a pick up and go situation. I ordered ahead on the app, and notified the store when I was about 10 minutes away. When I arrived the food wasn't ready, which was ok, it only took a couple of minutes to get my order. I will say, I believe that my burger was ready and the wait was due to lack of fries or a slow fry cook/prepper in scooping them into the bag. One thing I will state, they are not attentive. They called my order but didn't notice I had ordered a drink as well, I had to remind them and go back to the registers to pickup my drink cup. The burger I ordered was pretty delicious. I stick to a cheeseburger dressed up nicely with grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, pickles, and jalapenos for a kick. The burger was cooked perfectly and the condiments were not overwhelming. Sometimes they can put too many on and it just becomes a mess in your hands, this was not that. When I arrived home I noticed that the fries at the bottom of the bag were a little light in Five Guys standards. That is one of the nice things about Five Guys is the complementary fries at the bottom of the bag. Overall, the service was OK and the food was good. For it being the dinner rush I'll cut them a little...
Read moreWhen ordering this late last night on my way home from work, I honestly stopped because it was the only ring that sounded good. Now it’s been a minute since I’ve eaten at Five Guys. I don’t remember it being that expensive. For two burgers and a medium fry I paid a whopping $36. Along with that the worker who took my order looked as if she quite literally hated her life. It was hard to see especially after working 16 hours delivering Applainces with a smile on my face, even though my day was far from good. When I got the food, it didn’t take that long. I was pretty surprised by that. Unfortunately though, as I was cruising down 94 starving Do my best to enjoy my burger and fries, Each bite of my burger was like biting down into a just barely but thoroughly overcooked burger and bacon.. I was sad not gonna lie🤣 but being that I didn’t eat all day I smashed it like there was no tomorrow. For $36 though… man it just didn’t hit the mark. I hope to have a better experience next time if there is one. Oh yeah! Fries were on point, not gonna lie it was the very best part of...
