Bagel Factory — Restaurant in Southfield

Update: I was almost immediately contacted by owner who apologized for mistake and offered a free dozen as an apology. Not only does this business have the best bagels but the owner provides excellent personalized service. I have changed my rating to 5-stars. I love these bagels. I ordered 2 dozen plus the bonus two for today. I picked up my order at 1 pm and never thought to count them. Now at 4:30, I am cutting them prior to my family’s arrival to break the fast. The bagels are always excellent! Customer service was terrible. It is disappointing to walk in and be rudely spoken to because I missed spending 10 minutes outside to read the multiple signs taped to the window. After waiting to come in, the young woman stood behind a walled area, away from my vision, probably checking out her cell and after standing there and not acknowledging us, she said, “Go ahead and tell me what you want.” I said that I would wait until she was able to assist me and I was told by her that she had a good memory and she could hear me. Today's visit alone makes me want to never return. Cleanliness is no longer a priority here! This is from a patron who frequents here so often the staff knows my order. I'm so sad because the bagels and cookies are really tasteful!

Today my husband went in ordered cookie and bagels (normal order).. When he came home I opened the bag and yes, there were bagels and GNATS in the bag crawling over the bagels. I am disgusted! I did call and the lady offered to "take care" of us the next time we came in , however we just won't be back! Cleanliness is top priority!
