JASMINE is very rude and frankly, very petty. I ordered a specific smoothie bowl and asked if I could add cookie crumbles as a PAID add on. She said no, that's not allowed. I proceeded to pay at the window and she asked me to pull forward to wait on my order. She then came to the window as I was pulling forward and asked me to reverse..fine. I reverse and she told me I had too many toppings in my bowl for her to close it. The problem was, she had the wrong bowl with all wrong toppings, not what I ordered at all. I let her know that was not correct and I told her I saw online where people were adding cookie crumbles as a topping and she said she would have to research that (admitting that she didn't actually know) but her response was very rude and condescending and it was more important to her to deny any add on than to provide good customer service, which I would have happily paid for. She said she would be back with my order and a "new total", I guess she planned on charging me more?? Once I pulled forward to wait for her to correct the order, I decided I no longer trusted her to make my order because her energy was really negative, so I went inside and asked for a refund. I then asked her, hypothetically, if I wanted to just BUY the cookie crumble smoothie and ask that they don't give me the smoothie, only toppings, can I do that? (essentially paying $10-15 for toppings only) and she said NO, in a very rude tone but with a grin. Again, it was more important to her to deny me what I'm asking for than to be truthful and come up with a solution. She claims to be the general manager and when I was on my way out, she and the other employees chuckled when Jasmine told me that she hopes I have a "better day". Everyone knows that phrase is disingenuous. My day was and still is great. I ordered from a different tropical smoothie and got EVERYTHING that I asked for with zero issue. This is clearly a problem with personnel and not process. This location has rubbed me the wrong way on several occasions but it was today that I felt so inclined to write a review because Jasmine is a poor representation of what a leader should be and she has malice in her responses and delivery. Usually if you call your order in, within 5 minutes, It'll be sitting on the counter waiting for you. So, I called my Chia banana boost, with two extra shots of peanut butter, in yesterday. When I arrived, there was a line. I expected that. What I did not expect was to stand in the long line, get to the counter and guess what, no smoothie for me. There was a look of surprise on one of the servers face, that suggested: oops! I forgot to make it. I was just a little irritated, because I did see how crowded they were, so I understood about the wait. I did not understand, why they made it horrible. I asked for a thick smoothie, not Blended fruit that I could chew. I called it back in. While waiting, I noticed that my smoothie, in preparation was just sitting in the blender. I inquired. The associate stated that, that was not my smoothie. I then panicked, stating, with an authoritative tone: "This is my second time coming here. I have to go back to work. Read moreIf I could give this place a -1 star I would. I order from them quite often and every time, I am disappointed in the service. When I first started ordering from them, I ordered the Mango Magic (still do.) Every time I ordered it I could never drink the whole thing because they didn't blend it well. So I wasted almost every smoothie I ordered. I started ordering from the Cafe on Southfield instead. However, I work right down the street from the Cafe on Telegraph so it would only make sense to order from them. So the last order a couple of weeks ago, they forgot one of my smoothies. The dasher went back and got it. I didnt leave a bad review because I know how things can get hectic. So, this morning I order the same thing I always order and sure enough, they forget a smoothie at the Cafe. As soon as I received them, I called the Cafe and spoke to the manager. Now, I work in customer service and we clearly have different views on exceptional customer service. If someone places an order and you don't give them their whole order,it is your job to fix the situation. You don't blame it on Doordash. Yes they delivered my order but you made my order.
