The manager is very rude and unreasonable on a very very simple small thing. This cost them a negative review. She was unwilling to help my kids out. We asked for cheese on my kids tacos and she said they couldn't have it. When they were dishing up my kids, my kids said no beans and the lady gave them extra rice. Then when we said we wanted shredded cheese on the taco, this lady (the manager) said cheese is a side item. (Since when has shredded cheese on a taco ever been a side item? 😂) The manager said because we got two sides of rice they wouldn't give us cheese. I said, But we didn't ask for two sides of rice! So my wife asked them to just scoop the rice back off the plate and put it back... they said they wouldn't do that and they're not allowed to do that (even though they were still scooping up our food). So we just said scoop it in the trash, this isn't a big deal. My kids just want cheese on their tacos! They said they wouldn't do it and we would have to pay for the kids meal and buy another one if we wanted cheese. The manager said that's just the way it is and offered no solution for working with us whatsoever. It's freaking shredded cheese for crying aloud! She was rude about the whole thing and had a attitude to begin with. In full transparency to her, I told here if they weren't going to be reasonable and put some cheese on the tacos that we would leave a bad review. She said, "Go ahead" with tons of attitude. So, this is my negative review. This is a very small, silly thing to cause a negative review. But then again, this chipotle only has 2.9 stars and many others have complained about the employees. I’m not super familiar with the menu bc I’ve only been a handful of times. When we came in they made us order from the app, which is fine except they weren’t around or available to help with any questions we had (I guess they were in the back, weird). Then, even tho we were dinning in we had to wait till the scheduled time we chose on the app before they started making our order. When they brought out our order they told me that they ran out of chips for our “Large Guac and Chips” order, and were implying that we should be ok with it. I told them it was fine, but that I didn’t want the Chips and Guac anymore and asked for a refund. He told me he’d have to talk to his manager. When he came back they said they couldn’t do a refund but could give us an extra bowl or burrito. 🤦🏽♀️ Which doesn’t make sense bc we already ordered our food and we don’t need an extra meal at that time. So I asked for a gift card or something for the same price. After that the manager came out apologized and issued me a credit. On top of this my burrito was dripping ALL over the table and soaked the bag they put it in, and my husbands bowl didn’t even fill up the container it was in half way.
Please someone with some power read this and just have these guys go through some more training or get a new General Manager that cares, because that’s what’s going on there...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible customer service. I had a rough experience last time I visited this location and bit my tongue about it but today pushed me over the edge. I really do like Chipotle and at most every other location I have visited, I have a great experience. This location, however, has proven to be one that just can't seem to figure it out. Since they opened, I have been 3-4 times and each time is a let down. Missing items, small portions, and the quality of some of those items has been iffy at best. Today, add the lack of customer service and the feeling that the staff gave us that we were a burden and not a paying customer, and it boiled over a bit for me. We also waited the extra 10-15 minutes for the al pastor chicken and I was given a half portion a best in my bowl while my co worker who got tacos had about 3x the chicken and when asked for more, the argumentative person behind the counter just boxed up my food and shoved it in a bag. Not impressed. Disappointing when you spend almost $20 and end up having to go somewhere else for more food after the fact because the portions you were given were ridiculously small. Half portion at best. Sorry I came in and asked for some food... I thought that was the whole point of an establishment like this... That is how I felt when I left. I won't be back any time soon. I will drive to the one in Provo instead even though I live/ work within a few...
