I am standing in this restaurant as we speak, and it is filthy. As in, FILTHY!!! I wouldn't eat here in a million years except that I'm visiting my sister, and she picked it. There is food everywhere, literally on every surface. The chip drawer (or whatever that is) is wide open, with old chips hanging out on top of it, food is ground into the floor, and the food, which has been spilled all over the line, is dried. And when I made an admittedly snide comment to the girl working the front she claimed they had been GOING to clean it, but then "people came through". I'm sorry, but isn't that the point of restaurants? And aren't most restaurants (at least the ones I frequent) capable of doing both? And I'm sorry again, but when a restaurant is this freaking filthy, it doesn't get a free pass from me, since it it's a strong indicator is how my food is being handled. As a final side note, I'd also like to mention that while I was standing there initially waiting to be helped, there were 3 people in line in front of me, only one person working the filthy line, and the other 4 workers I saw (to include the manager) were having a little powwow right in front of me, and coincidentally also right in front of that wide-open chip drawer. And in case you're wondering, none of them shut it. Look, I get it, I used to work fast food. Who hasn't? It's miserable sometimes, especially around closing time. But there is a point at which I stop doling out excuses for them, and from the looks of this restaurant, that point was about 5 hours ago!!!

To start off with the little blonde girl that was doing the tortillas had a big stack of them in front of her and all the top ones were pretty old looking. she went to put one on my plate I asked her to give me one that is more fresh, she gave me a dirty look and grabbed me another tortilla but it was still crunchy okay fine I can handle it the second person was a male and my friend that was with me asked for parmesan and the guy did put parmesan on his food but also put parmesan on my food and I clearly told him I did not want any, okay about this time is when I'm starting to get a little irritated then I witnessed a Hispanic lady that was filling the rice containers did not take the old rice out it was dry and crusty and is she just put the fresh rice on top of it pretty disgusting if you ask me, then the girl at the cash register she spoke really soft I couldn't hear her but overall the service was really rude and unprofessional the sneeze guard in the counters were dirty, I usually try to go to Costa vida you know once a month or once every couple of months but just depends and I don't think I'll ever go back to the Spanish fork location. And after all that I get my food home and I'm eating it and I found a hair in my food very disgusting I had the hair in my mouth I threw my food away, I just couldn't do it

Let me begin by saying I have had Costa Vida in their Orem location. I was not impressed at that location. Orem was dirty and I thought cheap. As for Spanish Fork location it was clean and the staff was extremely helpful, nice and cheerful. I cannot say enough about how accommodating the staff was. As for the food. I ordered a shredded beef burrito. It was filled with more beans and rice than beef. It seems and cost continue to climb companies are cutting back on protein and are feeding more carbs. I would prefer they allow me to pay for the protein by the gram. They charge by the gram in other countries and it seems to work out well. You pay for what you ask for. Not what comes on the menu and then the managers ask the staff to cut back in the expensive protein and feed the carbs to the clients. Overall my experience was good. But I still wonder where the shredded beef was in the burrito?

My husband and I love this place! We love how there is a drive through for online pick ups, and cafe rio don’t. When you have kids that’s the best! However the last few times we have been extremely disappointed here. We’ve had quite a hard time wanting to come back each time, but we thought we would give it another shot and with this last time we now are probably Not coming back and will end up going inside to cafe rio. The last few times we’ve ordered online, Our order has been wrong, or we wait for about 25-30 minutes for our order to be complete after the fact we ordered it online and selected time of pick up, it’s at least 20-30 minutes after that time we wait. It’s extremly frustrating. Not only that the staff has not been like it used to be either. They were not as friendly or accommodating as they have been in the past. Usually if we wait just five minutes we’re offered a drink or something while we wait.... (which is why we’ve been okay trying to come back) but with this last time we sat and waited for 25 minutes and no one said one word to us. Then our food sat there, for a minute until a girl finally turned and looked at the name of the order and came and asked if it was us. We just were so disappointed. I think maybe we’ll give cafe rio a shot even though we love most of what costa vida has to...
