Tokyo sushi is the best sushi in the area. The owners are very nice people and I look forward to sushi days during my week. Better price and quality than anywhere else in the area. Well kept secret, which is starting to get out. Sashimi is fresh and nice cuts, sushi ala cart is a must try. Also all the sushi rolls I’ve tried are awesome and well made. Forget the other places. Call early and order ahead because sometimes they finish making orders before posted close time.

A lot better than most higher end sushi spots in north Jersey. Fresh melt in your mouth fish that I really enjoyed...I’ll be back.

A nice and quiet place that my wife and I love to go for dinner. Their sushi is made with the freshest ingredients. The owner always gives us free edamame. There is never more than usually one other table being served at a time when we go there. They seem to do very well with their to go orders and may as well put in a revolving door for all of the orders they crank out.

I should add, my wife will drive 25-30 minutes out of the way and pass about 4 other establishments that serve sushi because she likes the owners and the food so much here at Tokyo Sushi.

I personally enjoy the tuna and the salmon rolls, I'm a plain fella. Whether it be spicy or regular hand rolls, they are all very good. The pricing is very reasonable, taking into consideration how much cost of goods have gone up lately. My wife enjoys some of the more "crazy" rolls they make. Like the Lake Mohawk Roll, Rainbow Roll, Jackpot Roll, etc.

They are not open 7 days a week. It always seems that they are off when my wife is craving them most ha ha. That is not a bad thing however. It is a nice husband and wife that run Tokyo Sushi and they are entitled to days of rest just like...

The prices for lunch weren't bad, and I could definitely see buying one of their big dinners for multiple people. The area is quaint and the Korean lady (sounds like the wife of the owner, from other comments?) who served me was pleasant although not particularly chatty. I got the 7 piece sushi + California roll dinner. The rice on the California roll was a little tough, maybe undercooked or wasn't fresh and had dried out a bit. The fish on the sushi was warm which was a little strange. Tender and flavorful, didn't taste spoilt, but not sure if it was sitting near something hot or something?

I was in and out in 30 minutes for dinner which was great, but I was alone and the only person there after a couple finished up and left as I ordered so I think it was to be expected. Would go back to try them again, maybe try one of the two roll lunch deals. Some of their rolls looked amazing! I'd say this place is just about on par with Sushiya and Asian Island also in the area. Nothing blew my mind but I had a...

I went here last night with my family. The sushi was ok. We ordered tea and it came after the meal. The woman in the restaurant was rude. She only talked to us when we ordered and asked us if we needed more ginger once. She moved the divider right when my father was changing his hoodie and walked right in front of his face rudely. The sushi did not look like the pictures on here. The restaurant closes at 9pm on Fridays and I felt rushed. They turned other customers away because they, “ran out of rice.” I would have rather ate at home. I felt uncomfortable there and will never go again. I will tell my friends to...
