Originally, I rated this firehouse all 5s. I am changing that. I used to frequent this Firehouse several times per week. I moved and I couldn't get the service during my lunch. Having only 30 minutes, I would call in early and still have to wait. I decided to go there tonight. I got there at 8:30 and the employees, all rather young, were playing and talking amongst themselves too much to be able to greet me. There were numerous employees behind the counter, way more than I would think necessary. I wanted to try something different, being diabetic and my sugar was elevated, so I wanted a second to look at the menu. One of the employees yelled from a few feet away, "WE ARE ABOUT TO CLOSE SO THEY NEED TO MAKE UP THEIR MIND WHAT THEY WANT". I made my way to the register, and as I was ordering, the person yelling from the back began to turn off the lights. Blinking the last 2 left on. I asked if they were telling us to get out and apologized, saying I thought they were open until 9. She said, "we are open til 9! You are our last customers so we can clean up." At this point, it is 8:40p. There are 5 or 6 employees, if not more, and your sign says you close at 9, not 8:30. My sandwich is soggy, falling into pieces, and I paid nearly $40 for 2 nasty subs and a rude attitude from a bunch of silly teens. I won't be back.

LaQuita “Q” and the team at the Firehouse on S Pine are literal living legends. I placed a large online order for 30 people with little notice, and not only did they get it all together on time, they were so conscientious in providing extra items and triple checking the order for accuracy. They anticipated the needs of my group before I even spoke. The attention to detail was above and beyond. I am so grateful for this amazing group of people!

I love this place. It’s always good. They always make my food right and it’s always fresh and delicious. The employees are nice and happy to help. The store is clean and well stocked. If it was closer, I would go alllll the time. Would definitely recommend.

Overall terrible experience at this location. This site used to be great and We had originally placed our order at 8:50 PM on 04/06/24 thinking they closed at 10pm for a quick dinner for our family to get at least somewhat back on schedule as an evening’s event took longer than expected. We ended up cooking at home and delayed our children from getting to bed at more reasonable time than midnight. The app didn’t indicate that orders placed within a certain time frame of closing would be delayed to the next day. Or the staff at the restaurant delayed it, possibly, I’m not sure how the system works. I selected for pickup ASAP when ordering. On arrival, the closing staff was rude in demeanor & said they were closing and wouldn’t make the sandwiches. When requesting the refund, the closing staff member stated she didn’t know how to do anything with online orders and I would have to return the following day to speak with her manager. On arrival the next day, our food was made but cold as the ticket indicated it was prepared at 10:50am. The GM grudgingly re-made our order after we arrived at 12:30. She stated she had no knowledge of any problems from the night before and no way to verify what was said or done. I provided the original order receipt information from the app. While waiting on the meal, she told another customer they wouldn’t be able to take orders because they were dealing with a complaint from over a year ago. That customer left using very impolite language. One of the remade sandwiches appeared to be lacking the double meat and double cheeses we’d paid for based on previous orders for comparison. We did not make a fuss about this at the time because of the poor customer service we’d...

I'm not one to write any bad reviews. Normally, I would just keep them to myself and decide that I will not go back to a certain establishment.

With that being said, I look at all the previous reviews after my purchase at this Firehouse location, and feel like this needs to be addressed again. It's been an issue for quite a while based off the reviews, and doesn't seem to be getting addressed.

There has been much feedback regarding soggy bread. I got a steak & cheese sub with combo to-go ($16.09 with a $2 tip). The bottom part of the bun was so soggy and mushy from either the extreme amount of mayo or the very cold steak. I'm not sure how long the steak was heated up for, but it must have been frozen before they put it in their microwave. There were still very extremely cold pieces of meat when I tried to power through eating the sandwich after removing the bottom bun. The amount of mayo on the bun could have been enough for 2 or 3 more sandwiches.

Take this information for what it is worth, and sorry for having to leave a bad review. I feel like the soggy bread is one of the common denominators for bad reviews in the past 6 months, and wanted...
