This Dominos, owned by Shane Anderson, is an absolutely terrible store. By far the worst I've ever experienced. They messed up our order for the third time now. I didn't complain the first two times because I dont want to cause a fuss. But three times is too much.
When I called to raise my concern, I was met with abject hostility and disregard. Here's how the conversation went:
Girl: Hello thank you for calling dominos, how may I help you? Me: Hi, Im calling to let you know that we ordered 4 pizzas that were just delivered, but one of them was incorrect. We had ordered a pepperoni and sausage, but I believe it was replaced with beef. Girl: Whats your address? Me: (I give my address) Girl: okay so you didnt get your pepperoni and cheese? Me: No. We didnt order a pepperoni and cheese. we ordered sausage and pepperoni, but instead we got a beef. This is actually the third time in a row our order has been messed up. Girl: Okay well we get hundreds of orders and they can't all be perfect. Me (shocked): wait what? so are you saying its okay? Girl: I mean it shouldnt happen, but they can't always be perfect. Me (incredulously): what? Girl: silence for about 15 seconds Me: so what then? Girl: what what? Me: are you serious? whats your name? Girl: silence for another 15 seconds Me: hello? can i get your name? Girl: silence for another 15 seconds, then, "what was the request?" Me: I asked for your name. you're doing absolutely nothing to help me Girl: Im a minor and I dont feel comfortable giving that out Me: So what then? do I just need to come down there to talk to a manager? Girl: that sounds good. bye. then she hung up on me
Absolutely insane. Do not eat here.
I ended up driving down to the store to speak to a manager. The gentleman I spoke with was kind and listened to my story. He offered to "make it right," which I appreciated. However the absolutely horrible conversation I had with this girl was beyond repair. Something more than a free pizza needs to be done. I cant imagine continuing to employ someone who responds to customers that way.
While I was in the store, I also noticed a couple potential health code violations. For example, the girl I spoke to on the phone was regularly working right next to the prep line. I noticed that she was not wearing a hair net and did not have her hair tied back. gross. I don't know why they would keep employing her when she's putting customers at such great...
Read morePlaced a carry out order that included cinnamon twists that we hadn't tried before. When we got home, we opened the cinnamon twists after eating the pizza and saw that no icing was included. At this point, we were done with dinner but disappointed over the mistake - especially since we didn't get to try the twists how they "should" be. Decided to give the store a call and give them the opportunity to make things right, and this is where things really went bad. The person I first got on the phone didn't provide his name, when I explained the issue - his response was to tell me to come back to the store to get the icing. This was not an acceptable solution, first - we already finished dinner, but even if we hadn't - putting the inconvenience of a 30+ minute round trip (not to mention gas) to fix a mistake of their making was just not acceptable. I asked for a better solution, at which point he spoke with his manager. He came back on the phone and said his manager offered to refund the cost of the icing - about 80 cents. When I asked to speak directly with the manager, he refused to put her on. Said that he had just spoken with her and this is what she offered. I had to insist several times before he put her on. When Madeline finally came on the phone, she was rude and made it clear she didn't want to speak with me and had no desire to resolve any issues. Obviously, this store doesn't care about customers after they've already gotten their money. Madeline specifically appears to be woefully under-qualified to work with customers. After some back and forth, with Madeline being rude the whole time - I finally just asked her to refund just the cinnamon twists. It was at this point that Madeline started to claim that she could not partially refund an order - even though minutes ago she was offering to refund 80 cents on the order. When I asked about other options, she said I can always go to corporate - but they'll send the complaint back to the store and she'll tell me the same thing again. So basically no recourse. Read moreSo when I called over the phone to purchase 2 pizzas, I pacifically ASK ZACK THIS NIGHT SUPERVISOR if there's a way I can order extra sausage with my order. He told me THEY CAN ONLY PUT 2 TOPPINGS OF ITALIAN SAUSAGE, because it would not cook properly. So I said I would take the regular wave with the two toppings plus garlic, so that's the three topping special, carry out. I get there to talk to another person who cashed me out. And I asked them is the sausage pre-cut before they're on the the pizza. Because I just don't understand why I can't pay extra for what I would like then he told me, yes, the meat is pre cooked but unfortunately, there's just not an extra button. So I was like, okay.But then, when I open my pizza, there was only one portion of the two that I was supposed to get and I find it disrespectful when I checked the supervisor about and said this is unacceptable and I asked the manager's informationHe's gonna tell me that he can't give me the manager's information, and they're not allowed too and then when I opened the pizza and showed him and looked at his eyes that he did not care. I drove here to get the food. I should have it made correctly. And the fact that he lied over the phone, saying he can do something when he could very much do, it was just unacceptable. I would not suggest to order anything from these people. Because they're treating people wrong and unfairly, and they don't care about the business or the brand or making money clearly, because if they did, they would make sure that the customer, we'll be able to have what they pay for especially when I offer to pay extra.
