We spend a third of our lives in bed, for me however, it's much more. As the result of a spinal cord injury while still a child, deciding my choice of bed was all the more complicated. Fortunately, this matter of complexity was simplified when I was introduced to the staff at 16 cents. They walked me through the process, helped me to understand what I might need and want in a bed, then lent a hand in such a way that I'll never forget their kindness.

The staff are people of understanding, and that goes a long way in a world that lacks such. I thank them all for their uplifting demeanors. I shall surely return whensoever I have need of their services again.

Today my husband and I bought our first couch together. We didn’t just buy a couch, we met Tim, manager of the Spokane Valley branch of 16 cents, 3 shoes and 5 socks and his wonderful assistant, Justin. In meeting them and spending an hour or so, we had the most fun, laughter and good time since we moved here two weeks ago. Justin is a delight as is Tim. We nearly walked away as I was having a Goldilocks moment when all the couches I looked at were either too big or too small. Tim found us the perfect couch hiding in the front. Shane and Mitch were both very helpful. They had great suggestions and thoughtful recommendations to help guide me to finding the perfect piece for my space. They smoothly coordinated everything without me having to do a thing, ultimately hooking me up with my dream couch in just a few days. What a relief and pleasant surprise!
