Let me start with the couple things that I found that I liked about the facility, I loved how the ladies working were cleaning pretty much the entire time making the areas clean and pretty, from what I could see while I was there all of the toys that seemed to work and work properly, and the drinks that they sold there were about 30 cents cheaper than the vending machines and sodas out in the food court. Although my son had a blast playing he was very sad that both mommy and daddy were not there because we refused to pay extra for both of us to go in and sit. I understand that to parents are allowed to play on the structure but due to wait and injuries both of us are unable to crouch and play on the structure so we thought that it was pretty ridiculous to pay extra to sit on a stool or a chair. It kind of feels like kids with both parents are being targeted for a money grabbing type of situation, and reading it through other reviews I understand that you have a reason for it but it's not necessary especially when you're facility is pretty much empty, I understand that you guys have capacity numbers that you need to be aware of but when parents aren't playing and they're just sitting playing on their phones I feel like it's unnecessary to charge extra. While the family was separated for the 2 hours span his dad and I would take turns sitting by the free play area which was jam-packed with kiddos, I asked them why they weren't bringing their kids to we play and they're responses were either my kid doesn't want to go in there , had a bad experience with running into their kids are hitting and nothing being done about it or we refuse to pay extra for both parents to go in so it makes me feel better about my decision to go elsewhere after that day. No other facilities that we have ever been to charge extra for both parents to be there unless they are partaking in the jumping or playing. It was a nice change for the day but I will be going elsewhere unless a kiddo has a birthday party there and my son is invited. But wonderful job keeping the property clean and nice for everybody who...
Read moreOn Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022, we went to We Play Spokane for the first time. My two kids received passes for Christmas and I was so glad they did because it would had been $36 total (without socks) for admission. With that said, the employees who helped us at the gate were welcoming and kind.
The facility as a whole feels a little cramped. Granted, it was extremely busy the day we were there. Not judging one way or the other, but probably 90% of the adults and children were unmasked if that influences your decision to go or not. The slides at We Play are small and not as exciting as the slides at similar play structures in different states. With that said, one thing that was better at We Play compared to similar play structures I have been to was that all the ball guns worked properly and were a lot of fun to use. The Ninja School Course is a nice touch and I think it is pretty cool that a digital clock times each kid who completes it.
The toddler section is awesome! There were lots of fun activities for my 2-year-old to do and the area really does contain your young ones in the space. I mentioned it was busy when we played but I do want to give credit to everyone who was there. The older kids were helpful and patient with my younger children and all the parents I interacted with were kind. I think more could have been done to make the seating areas and party areas around the play structure more comfortable. We Play Spokane is a mixed bag for me. My children truly had a nice time but I donât know if we will be returning given the high...
Read moreâ 0/5 We had a terrible experience at We Play on a rainy day with our 20-month-old. To start, the pricing is ridiculous. It cost us $17 for our child, $7 for one adult (the other was free), and then $2.99 each for âfull grip socksâ that we were forced to buy, even though my child already had grip socks that were deemed ânot full grip.â Meanwhile, parents who were part of a birthday party were clearly wearing regular shoes without issue. When my husband mentioned he wouldnât even enter the playground, they still insisted he purchase socks.
Once we got inside, it was utter chaos. Thereâs no structure or staff oversight. In the toddler section, my son tried to interact with another child while playing with a toy ice cream stand, only to be pushed repeatedly by the other child. This happened three times before the other parent finally intervenedâafter we called out for them. Most parents were sitting on the sidelines glued to their phones, oblivious to their kidsâ behavior.
The worst part was in the â4 and underâ section, where older kids were spinning dangerously fast on a toy, hanging off the sides and running recklessly around it. My son was simply walking nearby when they knocked him over. There was no staff monitoring this area, no one enforcing age limits, and no one available to address safety concerns.
This place is a disaster. If youâre looking for a safe, structured, and enjoyable environment for your child, do not come here. Itâs overpriced, poorly managed, and unsafe. We will not...
