Taco Time — Restaurant in Spokane

Extremely disappointed in this place. My husband had ordered the 4/$8 bean burritos and was charged $19 for it. I thought I misheard her so I didn’t think anything of it. When the food finally got to us after 20 minutes of waiting, it wasn’t even close to what my husband had ordered. My husband went back up to the gentleman at the counter and pointed out that his order was incorrect after we had inspected the receipt and asked if we could have the correct food and have the difference refunded, as the correct food was almost half the price. The guy told my husband he could do that and remade the order. When he went back to get the correct order the second time, another 20 minutes might I add, My husband asked about the refund the guy said he would give us and the girl told us to come back in ANOTHER 20 minutes, as the guy was on break. We came back later and found out that we were given false information and the gentleman talked us out of refund, stating that was the managers rules if they remade it, they couldn’t refund. I explained to the guy that didn’t make sense as they still owed us the difference. The guy continued to roll his eyes at us. I was absolutely appalled by the attitude. Not to mention, the burritos my husband got tasted sour! Hopefully the manager sees this and has a talk with his employees. Aweful service. Would not...

So a day later I'm still feeling the effects if Taco Time. Ugh....

Our order was brought up to the counter at some point and another customer grabbed it. We never heard our number.

15 minutes later I checked on it. She said she called it out and apologized....remade it. Another 10 minutes. She threw in an extra item which was nice. But we watched how the whole thing happen. She called 57. We were 56. She brought all of it to counter and 57 nodded and took both orders. Hmmmm?...interesting. felt like it was a scam. Whats worse is a teenager in the back is being served his food and people's orders are being given away. People don't like to watch that kind of crap. Maybe have the young employee sit where people can't see him. But then we look over and it happened to another lady who was there before us. I bet she waited for 45 minutes. Damn.... lock down people's orders before random people walk off with it. They WERE pretty busy. But damn. Won't be back. I'm sure those customers who got double orders can't wait...

During a pandemic like covid-19 I have seen alot of places get way to relaxed with masks and sanitizing. This location keeps everything behind the counter, employees and fully masked up and wearly properly. And the counter areas looked nice and clean, also I have seen an employee clean them while I was eating last time. Food is always good, I know it's just fast food but when they actually make it with care you can taste the difference forsure. Been very happy with location the past 2 months I've been eating there on a regular basis. Keep up the good...
