My last 3 visits to McDonalds in Ardmore has resulted in me getting to the 2nd window and the same cashier asking for my receipt. Why? Aren't you aware of COVID-19? THIS TIME I told her I would not be giving her the receipt. The manager approaches the window and asks me to park and wait (with an attitude). At first, I did not because I had not been handed my drinks. She came back and explained it all will be brought out. I parked and waited and watched about 5-8 cars pull off while I had been waiting for $11 worth of food and drinks. I backed up and asked for my money back. The manager begins yelling from the front counter area to me at the window. I yelled back and said a few choice words. When you lose your level of professionalism, I lose mine. If my son did not ask for McDonalds, I would probably never go to the one in Ardmore. Its always some bs there. I sit in line for 10 minutes then get to the window and get parked for almost 10 more minutes.... and it would have been more time if I wouldn't have asked for my money back. I thought it was fast food but the time spent there is ridiculous. I have time to drive to Athens McDonalds versus waiting on...

Hit or Miss quality and service, but highly depends on the staff. Sunday was not a hit day. Weekdays in the morning are awesome!

This Sunday (Jul 6, 2025), the young adults working weren't coordinated, and the drivethru gentleman guessed incorrectly as to where to park me to receive my food, since he had poor visibility of the parking spots. Someone else was parked in that spot, so naturally they received my food. Correcting both mine (and their) order required intervention inside. No initiative seemed to be placed on correcting my order once the other was fouled up.

I also get the impression I received the exact same bagged food the wrong person physically checked and returned. When I walked in to grab my order, I didn't see the staff remake the contents, and considering their communications, it's very possible the bag wasn't discarded after being returned by the other customer, but rather just set on a table. Normally, food is required to be remade, but again, communication was poor, and they perhaps had no idea the other customer checked the food.

Guessing is not a tactic for success in a place like this, and communication...
