Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Spring Township

Stopped last nite, ordered a Philly sandwich. Then asked about adding mushrooms. After placing order we noticed a sign that said "new", portobello and swiss, showing a picture of a sandwich with onions, green peppers, mushrooms and what appeared to be steak. So we asked if we could do that instead, the kid was just putting onions on the grill. As they rang it in it came out to 2.00 more than what was on the sign. They said oh no, that doesn't have steak on it. I said but the picture has steak on the sandwich. Long story short it should be advertised as vegetarian and the picture is deceiving it "appears" to have steak. They did make it a cheese steak, but it was made with sweet peppers and had white american cheese. The first time I was in a Jersey Mikes I was so impressed with the service and food quality. I have to say that the person taking the order might have stopped to clarify realizing we were mislead by the advertisement of the NEW sandwich. I’ve never really had Jersey Mikes before coming here and I’ve never even been to this location in person. I’m often stuck at home and over paying for delivery, but I had to leave a review because my sandwich overly impressed me for a chain place. I expected Subway level sandwiches. This is not that. We tried the BLT and cheesesteak and both were deli quality, but on very fresh bread. I don’t typically like hot sandwiches on cold bread but this was amazing just because it was so soft and fresh! The blt had a touch too much Mayo, but was made perfectly with crispy bacon without having to ask! It’s the standard there! As it should be but never is. Kudos shop owner of this franchise. The care you have for your business shows. Especially since most places don’t give delivery orders the level of care to in person orders. A new regular!

Great food! I have only ever ordered online until the other day. I went in because the online ordering wasn't loaded. Staff was friendly. The girl at the counter that took the sandwich order did not want the customers to tell her which toppings they wanted. The only issue I had with that was that one of the sandwiches from my order was a cheese steak and the girl working the hot sandwich counter never asked which toppings I did or did not want. They did ask for the two cold sandwiches. Better communication would be good at this part. Most, if not all, of the sandwiches come with their vinegar and spices. I did not get either of those on any of the sandwiches I ordered, but the woman in front of me did and she seemed disgusted at how much vinegar the employee put on her sandwich.
