From outside you would not expect the interior to be as nice. It is an unassuming storefront/entrance so we were surprised to see such a nice, large, and somewhat fancy interior. Lighting was good, not too dim, it was quiet, lots of seating, nice arrangement, and nice decor. Several customers were wearing nice clothes leading us to believe this is a nice date-night restaurant, or a place people think of and go to for a date. The waitress was nice and tried very hard to be personable as you could tell it was not natural for her but she did fine. However she was not paying attention well when we were ordering. One of the children was talking with his friend at our table and the waitress was listening and occasionally joining their conversation. While not necessarily a bad thing, it kept her from staying focused while we were trying to order causing several of us to repeat our order or needing to get her attention to focus back on the next person.
We were a group of 6 and when our food was ready she brought the food out one dish at a time which was unexpected and took much longer. The breadsticks were ok, some were not as fresh as others, there were not enough for each of us to have 1, and they charge for additional baskets. I would have expected at least the same number of breadsticks as the number of people in our party. Pricing is good with all their pastas being $10.99 each but extras are way overpriced. We considered getting shrimp added to one of the Fettuccine Alfredo until we saw it was $7.99. However it is nice that you can change the type of pasta in your dish and at no charge.
Food portions are good and worth the cost and the flavor was great. However the fettuccine Al Tartufo had no truffle flakes on top and no truffle flavor, or it was so muted that it was unnoticeable. So, it was just Fettuccine Alfredo. The Shrimp Scampi sauce was more thin and pale than we've gotten normally but flavor was good, although a bit on the sour/lemon side. We ordered a salad that we never got and forgot about until we saw that we were charged for it. They have kids menu options, although extremely limited (I think 2 options if i remember correctly) and expensive. It's only $1.50 more for the regular/adult portion so we ordered that for the kids instead.
Overall it was good, I would recommend it, and would go back but I would not...
Read moreThe place seems to be an Asian Italian Fusion restaurant. We stuck with traditional Italian dishes...lasagna bolognese and an alfredo dish. Food 3.5 stars... you are given 2 garlic bread sticks when you sit down. flavors of the main entree are decent, however the broccoli was not fully cooked and was more like ROCKolli as i was not able to cut through even the florette part. Price of all the pasta is 10.99 unless you want to add a protein which is an additional $5 to $8. They also offer extra pasta & extra sauce for an additional $2 to $3. It appears the food is done in pre-made, preportioned dishes that are then thrown in the oven to reheat for faster service. No salads are offered with the meal and desert costs more than the entrees. Service 5 stars only because of the waiter - the waiter Carlos was very good and was on top of everything and checked on us frequently. The hostess gets 2 stars. The place was empty and she sat the people that came in after us directly next to us on both sides instead of every other table to provide a little bit of privacy until the other tables were needed. She also closed off the bigger part of the dining room to mop. They don't close until 8pm and it was 5:30 when she did this. Not something I like to experience while I'm eating. She also helped carry food to the table behind us and her thumbs were on the inside of the dish...Atmosphere-2 stars..The mopping situation being the cause for most of the rating among the fact it could have been a lot cleaner. Walls need wiped down, chipped dishes need replaced, lights needed bulbs replaced, the music was too loud and it looked like they swept stuff in the corner then forgot to go back to dispose of it. Over all a solid 3 stars probably won't go back as there are so many food places to choose from in Vegas. Marie Calendars is in the same parking lot highly recommend going...
Read moreI recently went to this establishment on Thursday the 6th of June. I was so excited to try this restaurant because I seen great reviews on TikTok. Well, donât waste your time. The food was okay, but the service was absolutely TERRIBLE. When arriving, we are not greeted with a âhello, hi, how can I help you?â Nothing of that sort. Instead, the GM Adriana Quintero, asked âhow many?â I said âI have a reservation for Christineâ she goes âagain, I said how many?â I thought it was a joke but her snarky attitude was persistent the entire time we were there. I felt rushed & judged. Everybody who got their check, got it in the envelope however⌠We just got the bill. When I ordered my $10 pasta, I asked for shrimp to be added. She immediately says âthatâs an added chargeâ while looking at me as if I canât afford her $8 shrimp that were 4 pieces. So I responded âyupâ. Thanks Adriana, I DO know how to read. While we were talking amongst each other, she continuously interrupted us with no regards for how rude she was being. Hence, why I felt rushed & judged. My cousin was talking and she just askes, âCan I take that plate?â No âsorryâ, no âsorry to bother youâ. Then, my sister left the table to go outside⌠me and my cousin was getting up from the table to go pay. She is all the way in the bar & runs over to our table to stand in front of me and puts out her hand for the money or card to pay. I couldnât help but laugh at this point. I held my tongue so long. When I gave her the card, she just walks to the register & at this point Iâm already furious. When she sees the card went through, she just gives me the receipt to sign & tip. The audacity of her to even think I would tip her after how much of a joke that lunch was. No thank you! We will never be coming back here & I will let everyone know how degrading it was to be in...
