Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Spring Valley

I eat at Jersey Mike's weekly and never have I had a bad experience…until today. This is what happened. A few days ago, my wife bought a $50 gift card at this location. She gave it to me today and we took our 3 boys to this same location to eat and to use our Jersey Mikes gift card. Upon making the sandwiches, the employee took one look at the gift card and said that “we don't take those here.” We explained that we just bought the card at this location but it didn't matter because he didn't believe anything we were saying. My wife actually showed him the $50 receipt proving that we had bought the card at this location but it didn't matter. Meanwhile, we are holding up the line and there were many customers in the store staring at us and wondering what all of the commotion is about. The employee was making a big deal about the whole situation saying how he just got back from vacation and if that store is taking gift cards then he doesn't know anything about it. We then paid with cash and then asked for a refund of the gift card since gift cards apparently don't work. He refused giving us our money back saying the cards are not refundable. Let me get this right…we buy a gift card at this location, try to use it at this location but can't, and a refund is refused? Seriously? After we paid in cash, we all sat down to eat. Then, the employee comes over to our table and starts to argue with me while I'm eating. Seriously? He phones his manager and they get it worked out about accepting gift cards but by this time we are all really turned off and ready to bolt out of the store and never to return. I was later contacted by the owner via email and I responded to her but she never responded back. I will never eat here again due to untrained and lousy service that...

Please read all of the post and how this location owner and district manager retaliate which confirm everything I posted was true with screenshots he can't take down post with original response...(i would have taken the post down with a simple apology)....2:30 in the afternoon I was the only person in line. He just walked away while he was making my sandwich and this was the second time. I guess the district manager or area manager was at this location. What made it worse was no one apologized not even the person who I assume was district manager. He should know better than anyone who works there that you don't walk away from your customer while you're making a sandwich especially when I'm the only in line. I prefer Jersey Mike's but this location with the owner and their relatives who operate this location need to know following Jersey Mike's operation rules.This is what made Jersey Mike's what it is today This great review for people who is operating the Jersey Mike's the right way and knows who their priority is not the owner or district manager who responds to this post with sarcasm. So you're the one who was at the restaurant "GREAT JOB" I guess you don't care that your head office here in Las Vegas...

Very rude employees. I was the last customer and it was 8pm 03/23/2021. The door reads that they close at 9pm. Apparently they close at 8pm but it's my fault for not knowing 9pm means 8pm. I was behind a woman when I was looking at the menu and the male employee yells "could you hurry up and order we are closed!" I was polite and didnt decide to pick a fight with the fool and the female cashier "Jennifer " walks over to him and complains about people walking in. Wont go back there and the uppity duet are lucky I was too tired from a 12hr shift to pick a fight with them. I'll move on while the two miserable buttheads are working with each other. They are most likely the only ones that can stand one another lol I did get a free...
