Wanted to try a different korean bbq place and I saw this on instagram on a food profile I follow. Its a pretty good sized place plenty of tables. Its got a retro comic vibe. The host staff is very friendly when you come in they greet you right away and get to you quick. It is a bit pricier than most korean bbq places but the meat is good. You have lots of options and more authentic korean sides are given. They had pickled raddish, beansprouts, kimchi, fish cakes, glass noodles, spicy cucumber, and many more. Also comes with a big bowl of salad. They have two soup options (tofu soup or bean paste stew) and steamed egg if you like. They have a few different all you can eat options/ packages you can choose from but their basic is very good plenty of choices. The marinated meats were very tasty the bulgogi here I would actually eat because its sweet but not so overpoweringly sweet like other places. The beef belly was my favorite! It was nice that they had more than one type of marinade as well. They also have small and large intestine, seafood such as squid, mussels, and kimchi noodles. They also give dessert!! Theres also a nice selection of beers, soju, and they have these super tasty cocktails made with soju. Theres a cocktail flight you can get to try 3 different flavors. We tried passionfruit, pineapple, mango, and yogurt. They come in these can looking cups and have led blocks in them. Also if it is your birthday they play happy birthday over the speakers all throughout the restaurant, the staff sings to you, AND they live feed you on all the tvs in the restaurant so everyone can witness you being sung to lol. We didn’t do it but we happen to witness it for another table and clapped along. It was great lol. Overall its a really good place to eat they don’t have like gyoza or kfc appetizers you can get like at other places, but its still worth and the food quality and taste make up for it. Definitely will...
Read moreWe were pleasantly surprised when we first entered this place, as it is brightly decorated and has colored LED lights all over the place. We were immediately greeted and seated for lunch. Right away, the server gave us menus and asked us if we had been there before and gave us some pointers. We opted for the PAYCE premium selections which included choice, prime and wagyu grade beef cuts of filet mignon, ribeye and New York steak. Of the three, I enjoyed the New York the best, but all three were very good. The menu also includes baby octopus, mussels, large scallops and large head-on shrimp. All of those were delicious, especially the scallops. The meal included a large selection of side dishes, which I could hardly begin to think about listing here. Just take a look at the photo I included; it was nearly overwhelming. A fantastic house sauce was served with the meal and also they included extra salt and spices for the meat. Considering the quality of beef and seafood being served, the price is very excellent. They said you could sit there and eat all you want, clean them out if you want, and there are no time restrictions. Fortunately, the premium selections are available the moment they open up for lunch. We had a fantastic time at this restaurant. Little did we know that when you order the steak, you get a thick cut full steak, not just slices like at most places. So, we ended up with a full ribeye, a full New York, and a full filet mignon before we even got our seafood. Fortunately, we were pretty hungry, so we finished it all. But, just imagine being able to eat endless ribeyes, New Yorks or filet mignons plus seafood for under $50! The quality is fantastic, and the quantity is what you want it to be. We are definitely coming back...
Read moreHad a great experience. I would recommend the beef belly out of everything. Brisket is another great option.
Some key highlights is the service was great. They were friendly and overall quick.
Some gripes. We typically were out of water and would always have to ask which is understandable because the water container isn’t transparent. Personally I really like having a container of water at the table. Makes it easier on the server and guest imo.
Food positives- everything was flavorful brisket had a great beef taste I wasn’t expecting compared to others.
Food gripes - the salad wasn’t that great. It was very heavy in onions and bland maybe due to the onions dominating the dish so much. For the sides it’s nice being able to try everything but personally there’s only a handful most people will actually want/try. They didn’t have the basics other places have which isn’t a issue just I personally like.
