We were here on a Saturday, between 12:30-1pm, so it wasn't crowded but had a good amount of people dining. We were seated right away but the whole experience wasn't as good as I was hoping.
The service: It was slow, we waited for a bit (after closing our menus as a sign we were ready to order) but had to wave down someone despite them walking past our table several times and never even bother to look at our way. During our meal, no one stopped by to check on us and even after we were done, we had to wave down someone for the check. And while they were processing our payment, they just left the machine at the table and went to do other things. I think he was the manager, who never even cracked a smile or show a friendly face to any of the patron. Honestly, this was unexpected for a Thai restaurant, so I was disappointed cuz Thai restaurants are always welcoming and the staff always show good hospitality etc.
The food: It was good but everything was very salty. I had to water down the soup but couldn't finish eating my entrees. Other than the salt, the food was quite good; the quality and flavors were on point. So for those watching your salk intakes or like food on the less salt side, just beware about this.
The decoration/restaurant atmosphere: They did a good job decorating it and made it look nice. It is a mixture of chic/femininity and modern. The tuk tuk right by the entrance is a nice touch of "Thailand".
Overall, the 2 stars is for the saltiness of the food and the lack of good customer service and hospitality. And I would not come here again. There are plenty of other Thai restaurants that are just as good (or even better) and they make you feel more welcome with their smiles and attitude. I would rather give those my business...
Read moreFirst time visitor and we was very happy with the food and one of the server. We first saw seating outside, so we decided to sit outside, and have our little puppy with us. But before we sit down we ask one of the server if dogs are ok, first looked from her was not a friendly look at all., then she say ok but NO DOG on chair, NO DOG ON CHAIR! I told her ok, my dog are way too small to sit on the chair anyway. Her tone was not a friendly tone, quite rude, and also she should wait until I walk up to the restaurant at least not shouting over the parking lot. Anyway, I have my dogs on my lap the whole time. Until my husband came and join me, asked me to put the dogs on the other chair, I told him no because one of the server told me ‘ no dog on chair!’ My husband said to me: it’s ok we will clean and wipe the chair for them. But I decide to put them back in the car and have my husband stayed with dogs but he’s back and forth to the table to have time yum noodle soup!!! Anyway, when you have seating outside, most of people automatically knew it’s ok to have dogs. Unless you have a sign for SERVICE DOG ONLY!! So, I would give 5stars without this incident.
Btw, I ordered e-sarn sausage, Tom-yum noddle soup and Thai Boat noodle soup with beef: everything was great except that the boat noodle soup the noodle was way over cooked and the broth is way too much of the spice especially the cinnamon stick!!!?!! But overall it’s good with the food. But not a dog...
Read moreTourists beware. We made a special trip from The Strip for authentic Thai food and were drawn by Weera Thai Kitchen’s high ratings. We were seated for a Monday late lunch and waitress finally took our order at 1:45 PM. Restaurant was mostly full but not quite at capacity. Just my daughter and I and we both ordered from the lunch menu, no special orders. One can see the kitchen from the dining area and it appeared our order sat on the chefs’ shelf for about 20 minutes. The waitress never came by after our order, so I complained to the water server, who appeared not to understand. The food server finally served our lunch at 2:22 PM, 37 minutes after our order. The food was good overall. The curry sauce was very good, but my daughter’s chicken was slightly overcooked and worst was that both our meals were not hot, they were lukewarm at best. Three groups seated after us, apparently locals, were served their lunch before us. Five minute after completing our meal, I even had to get out of my seat just to ask the waitress (who still never came to our table since our order) for our check. Just a bad experience all around; and yes, I’m kicking myself for being so passive aggressive about all this. I should have complained to the manager at the time, or we should have just walked out during...
