I came in yesterday Friday night like 8:20pm with some friends expecting to taste some goodies or see what is coming out the oven. Wrong. They have egg tarts left and some matcha rolls left everything is sold. They only have refrigerated cakes. I asked are u baking anything more? The Asian looking miss along with a Latino looking guy look at each other and she proceeds to say no. That their last batch is like at 6pm. SIX PM? FIRST OF ALL it’s the weekend second do you not realize you are in a full parked plaza with handfuls of people coming into your store. Third not even a desire in the employees to recommend anything more. Does the company not want to make money? Is there a restriction on baking after 6pm ? Why keep open til 10pm? A waste of gas and embarrassing for me to take my friends there when I was hyping up the place 😭 also the last few times I did go early in the morning the staff was super awesome. They gave me a warm fresh baked good. Also they’ve gotten rid of a lot of cream cheese filling options. Everything is hard bread and just custard filling. Personally cream cheese on soft bread beats custard hard breads any day. Please bring back more cream cheese options! Not really a fan of so many egg filled options either 😭 Those options were the ones left Friday night. The reason I put 1 star for the atmosphere was because it’s gotten rid of cream cheese filled options, soft to the touch bread, dirty tables, a ton of customers on a Friday night and no more...

The food and drinks are really good and fresh. However, customer service was awful. My family and I came up to the counter with our bread and it was their first time there so I told the cashier,” sorry it’s their first time it might take a couple seconds to figure out what they want to drink.” She rolled her eyes so I ignored that. She told me my total even though we were done ordering so I apologized and ordered iced peach tea for the rest of my family. The cashier not only rolled her eyes she walked away from the counter and threw her hands up in frustration before coming back to finish the transaction. This was done in front of my hubby, his 7 year old son, and my step sons mother. I’m happy I didn’t bring the rest of the family with us! We had no one behind us in line. We’re very kind people. I even own a cafe of my own in another state so I know what it’s like first hand. However, her attitude and frustrated theatrics were unnecessary especially for first timers. The transaction was less than a couple minutes and around 1-2pM. I’d understand if we had come in during the rush with a line behind us or right before closing but we ordered during a lull. If you don’t like working in customer service then maybe being a cashier at a busy cafe is not for you. You know? We wish you well and hope you have a better day but I’m not taking my family to this specific 85°C in the future. I feel like nice customers deserve better than the treatment we...

A very bad cake shop, I understand that your new business will be a bit messy, but your practice is very unprofessional. In addition, you are a professional chain cake shop, but you are so unprofessional. For my friend's birthday tomorrow, I just want to order an 8-inch mango cake. At first, the employee answers the phone. He says hello. What can I do for you? I say hello. I want to order An 8-inch birthday cake, he said it's OK. Please, you know, I said that I want to come and get it at about 9:00 tomorrow evening, and then he said that you should wait for a moment (I'm just waiting for the phone for 8 minutes, and then he said that I'm sorry that there's no mango cake now, so I said it's OK, so what kind of cake do you have that I can order, and then he said that you can wait for a moment, I'll call us The manager came to book it for you. I waited another 10 minutes. Their manager answered the phone and said that you want to order a cake. I'm right. I want to order a birthday cake and take it around 9 o'clock tomorrow evening. The manager said that I'm sorry, but now I can only order a Christmas style cake. I said it's OK. You put a decoration on the cake to show me happy birthday. The manager said you can't order it now, I said why. The manager said that Christmas style cakes can't be ordered now. They can't be ordered until the 19th. Crazy me, why didn't you tell me at the beginning why it took me so much time? Crazy....

85°C Bakery Cafe: A Slice of Asian Bakery Heaven in Las Vegas Craving a delightful and satisfying sugar fix? Look no further than 85°C Bakery Cafe! Their cakes are undeniably delicious, but they avoid the overly sugary punch that can sometimes be overwhelming. This makes them ideal for those who prefer a more delicate and nuanced flavor profile. Beyond cakes, 85°C boasts an impressive array of freshly baked breads. From savory options to sweet treats, you'll find something to satisfy every craving. Their signature Marble Taro bread, a top seller, is a must-try. It features a beautiful mix of grains enveloping a rich taro filling, creating a textural and flavorful experience. Perfectly Balanced Cakes: Not overly sweet, perfect for those who prefer a subtler taste. Variety of Breads: From savory to sweet, there's something for everyone. Must-Try: Marble Taro Bread, a unique combination of textures and flavors. They also offer a great selection of coffee, tea, and other beverages to complement your pastry selection. The even have candles incase you are celebrating. The staff is always super nice. If they have it i highly recommend the oat milk brown sugar latte, it's worth the trip to Chinatown.

You will have to try the original in Taiwan to know the differences. To most of the customers who are used to the typical boring pastries in the US which will give you a sugar rush the moment you bite into it, this place will be an eye opener. Or customers who go there for one or two specific items, I can see why this place gets 5 stars. We bought 8 different pastries to try. I have tried the originals in Taiwan and the ones in the LA area, comparatively speaking, the menu is about the same, the taste and flavor is OK, nothing impressive but some of the items are not. The blueberry cheese cake that I had, while it is still chilled to the touch, it is a pile of goo. The only thing that is holding it together is that plastic wrapper around it. The chocolate cake has good texture, good density but the chocolate taste was not intense enough even with the chocolate dusting on the top so you taste more dough. The pastry with the cheese filling (not the danish), room temp, the filling was in chunks. Overall this place comes up short vs. the brand name and quality, quite disappointing.
