I LOVE PASTA MIA! Out of all the wonderful Italian places LV has to offer, Pasta Mia has to be my favorite at the moment. I've prob eaten there 25-35 times in the past 5 years. Fairly certain, I've only ever ordered the Chicken Parmesean. I've had bites of other dishes from various dining companions and never tasted a bad dish. But hands down the chicken parm is the best I have ever had (this says a lot bc my Mom's Italian cooking could go toe to toe with any celebrity chef out there). But Pasta Mia's has set a new standard for chicken parm. It is Sooo tender, and thin, cooked to perfection. Melts in your mouth. They must beat the sh*t out of that chicken breast. Then the sauce is spectacular. I don't know what it is, but it doesn't even give me acid reflux like most red pasta sauce would. The only thing I would change, and do, is that it's traditionally served with a side of penne Pasta there. I always ask for angel hair. Even this is cooked to perfection. The perfect bite just melts in your mouth. It's a rather large serving for me, so I usually end up with 2 or 3 meals from this one dinner...unless I split it with a lucky companion. On occasion I will order this take out and share. Like most Italian places, you are given a choice of soup or salad as well. I always choose the salad. It may not look like much, but looks are deceiving. Looks like Romain and tomatoes with Italian dressing. But you get the nicest surprise when u bite into it- the tomatoes are heavenly! They are marinated sorta like bruccheta tomatoes in garlic and basil or something. Even their house Italian dressing is special! You also get a loaf of garlic bread. It's nothing special but when u dip it in the sauce from the parm- resplendent! I usually finish off the experience with tiramisu and or canoli. Both are terrific! I have never had a bad dining experience at Pasta Mia. It's my go-to recommendation for not too pricey Italian food...

I might be in the minority here, but my Husband and I just went last night for the first time and it was an extremely negative experience. We had a reservation but when it came time to be seated they took us to the back room which was completely lacking in atmosphere and being used as a storage area for linens. It was a stale space and devoid of any character - and separated from the live entertainment, which was frustrating. My husband ordered a pre-meal cocktail, a screwdriver, and the waiter said they could not make a drink like that. He abruptly left but when he returned we asked why a full bar would not be stocked with vodka and orange juice. “Well of course we have that” he said indignantly. He then went to get the cocktail. We started with the calamari, which was lacking texture and flavor. I ordered a large Caesar salad with chicken breast. The chicken was cooked decently but the lettuce, which did not appear to be all romaine, had obviously been tossed a long time ago which made it completely soggy. It was almost a soup. It was 100% unacceptable. My husband was informed they were out of the mushroom sauce for the gnocchi that’s on the printed menu, so the waiter suggested the red meat sauce, which turned out to be bland and unmemorable. The waiter was either overwhelmed with too many tables or too lazy to walk to the far away back room we were seated at, as we rarely saw him. Even the busboy didn’t clear our appetizer dishes until we needed the space so I got up and moved them to an empty table beside us. Bottom line, it was the worst restaurant experience we've had in years and wewill never return. I’m glad to see others have had more positive experiences here, I just wish we would have been treated to the same....

We had a party of 7 and had a Groupon we were not allowed to use even tho we spend $172 dollars. The music was too loud and we asked at least 5 times to turn it down and they did not. The speakers were bad so the music was skipping and static. I had a hard time hearing my friends who were in town from Chicago which really annoyed me. I ordered pasta with meat sauce. What a joke it was really just marinara no meat to speak of. My sister had mozzarella sticks but that's not what they were they were triangles in sauce, 3 for $12. They had no ginger ale which is a pretty standard drink. The margaritas at $12.99 per drink were made with the cheapest tequila. The topper was my friends kids ordered fettuccine with salad. Salad comes with. They ordered Ceasar salad and were not told its an $8 upcharge. Usually a waiter will tell you about an upcharge. When we told him about it he didn't offer to let us use our Groupon or offer to take the charges for the salad off. As far as I am concerned that was his fault for not telling us and he should have given us some kind of discount. Then they charge you extra for using a charge card. So our waiter only got like a $7 tip which he complained very loudly about as we were leaving. How unprofessional and it was more of a tip than he deserved as it is. He's lucky he got that after the poor service and bad food and loud music. We have Groupons to use to come back but are trading them in for something else and we won't be back and do not recommend this place to anyone. It was certainly...

I had the worst experience at an Italian restaurant and it's here ! Better off going to Olive Garden. First of all I called last week to get a reservation for Sunday 6/16 party of 8 at 5 pm. My party came to check in at 4:45 the lady looked confused , look at her book said I see your name but we don't have the table . I said ok we can wait. Then she got really frustrated. She asked a manager he actually looked like the guy on the photo of the menu .. he was rude to her and gave her an attitude and said "well bring them to the other room! " and she said okay I'll bring you to the back room . We followed her and sat us down. The whole vibe and energy was so off with that guy .. Took maybe 20 min for a server to come get us a drink. The server himself looked tired and he was sweating ( kinda nasty) but I felt bad ..he was soaked in sweat.. also another 15 min to take our order. Our food came in 40 min , actually 50 min because it wasn't complete had everyone food but my daughter's gnocchi . The food was disgusting. It did not taste authentic Italian,it all tasted like it was frozen box food and was heated up to serve . My son had their chicken fettuccine and it was salty , at that point I told my family I wished we had went to Olive Garden ,my family and I have eaten to a couple Italian restaurant here in Vegas and let me tell you the food here cannot compare. I wouldn't recommend this place. I will never come back here.

The bolognese was spicy in all the right places, acidic but not bitter, and parm on top of it opens up a creamy side that is just luscious on the fork. The pasta fagioli tastes way better than it looks. If you're gonna taste that good you ain't gotta look that wild. It hits all the notes without overloading. I had the stuffed artichoke, and I love artichokes, but this was a whole experience I wasn't ready for. Firstly the stuffing was what you want out of all the stuffings you've ever had or are going to have, them it had garlic on top that was basically melted and spreadable. The artichoke itself was done to perfection and made a soup out of itself that the fresh baked focacia absolutely needed to swim around in. The one thing you gotta watch out for is, when you're digging that delectable stuffing out of the middle of that big beautiful thing, the middle bits are still down there. Easy enough if you're not embarrassed about getting your fingers dirty for some delicacy, but be forewarned, artichokes and classy don't gotta go hand in hand. The espresso at the end might stave off my food coma, but if it doesn't I'll sleep happy and care-free knowing what I've done to myself and my tummy. It's easy to see why they've lasted 31 years in this location, way to go Pasta Mia West! The Original! 51 bucks for all of that and a beer!

It took us almost ten minutes to be greeted once we were at a table. When someone finally asked if we had been helped she brought over a giant board with the specials and put it on a chair from another table while she disappeared for a few minutes. The salad I ordered had a good vinaigrette, but the plate had so much water it lost all flavor, however I will say the tomatoes and lettuce were very fresh and crisp. I had the tortellini alfredo. And while the alfredo sauce was great, the tortellini was lacking. I asked the waitress what they were stuffed with before I ordered, and she said ricotta, which turned out to be not true. I have a slight allergy to Romano cheese and ended up coughing through a dinner I could barely eat. The staff should know the ingredients. It's very dangerous for them to be ignorant. The noodles in the soup my husband had were so overcooked they were mush. They disintegrated in my mouth. Gross. The bolognese sauce tasted like canned sauce, and the meat was bland and flavorless. The best thing about the place was the garlic bread they served while waiting for entrees. It was good, but a touch dry. I will not be going here again, nor will I be recommending this place to anyone, especially if they have allergies.
