Located near the lively streets of Chinatown in Las Vegas, Nevada, Sweet Talk is an eatery that offers innovative, vegan-friendly dishes that are a treat for both the taste buds and the senses. As a food lover, I recently enjoyed trying out the many options available at Sweet Talk. The experience far exceeded my expectations. The café is open every day from 1 pm to 10 pm, making it an ideal spot for anyone who wants to embark on a delightful culinary adventure.
As soon as I entered Sweet Talk, I was transported to a magical world where the décor, vibrant hues, and charming ambiance combined to create a whimsical wonderland. Every corner of the café was decorated with playful accents and pastel hues, which gave it an air of enchantment. I remember being particularly drawn to the adorable animal-shaped desserts and couldn't resist taking a photo to capture the moment.
Now, let's talk about the pièce de résistance, the boba drinks. Sweet Talk's boba concoctions are renowned for their affordability and irresistible charm. The artistry and ingenuity of its creators are evident in every sip. I had the pleasure of savoring the Strawberry Green Tea with Cheese Foam, and it was a symphony of flavors that danced upon the palate with each luxurious sip. While some may find Sweet Talk's boba drinks sweeter, I found the balance between sweetness and tea flavor to be nothing short of perfection—a harmonious fusion that left me craving more.
The Mango Pomelo Tapioca, a whimsical creation resembling a bear taking a bubble bath, stands out as a visual and gustatory delight among the fan favorites and intriguing offerings. It's as adorable as it is delicious—a playful twist on a classic treat that will surely bring joy to both young and old alike. Similarly, with their jiggly sleeping animal design, the Nutella Mousse Cakes add an extra layer of charm and cuteness to the culinary experience—an irresistible temptation for those with a sweet tooth and an appreciation for whimsy.
Indeed, Sweet Talk is more than just a culinary destination—it is an experience to be savored and cherished. Whether you're planning a memorable outing with loved ones or a solo indulgence in culinary delights, Sweet Talk's welcoming and kid-friendly atmosphere, delectable treats, and Instagram-worthy aesthetics make it the perfect setting. I wholeheartedly recommend Sweet Talk to anyone seeking a taste of whimsy and a journey into the realm of gastronomic enchantment. Prepare to be dazzled, delighted, and thoroughly enchanted by the magic that awaits within Sweet Talk's...
Read moreI discovered this place via Google search and on 18 Sep 2025, my wife and a couple of very close friends tried this dessert shop for the first time. When we arrived, I was surprised to see the layout of the building and where Sweet Talk was actually located within the building (I thought it was a standalone brick-and-mortar shop). Upon walking in, I don't recall hearing anyone greet us. I'm not one of those that get bent out of shape over that either...but I just wanted to point that out to the owner and future customers. I do, however, get taken back when an employee isn't friendly during the interaction...and that's what I experienced while in this business - the employee didn't seem enthusiastic with us being there, or perhaps we arrived near their closing time (~1.25 hours until closing) and maybe they were annoyed with that? Regardless, I still wanted to give this place a try.
I was in the mood for some bingsoo, so I ordered the Blueberry Snow Ice. The entire dish was good; however, I've had better at other Las Vegas dessert shops. The folks in my party ordered Mango Black Sticky Rice Snow Ice, Strawberry Souffle Cake, and Strawberry Crepe Cake. In reference to the Mango Snow Ice, one person noted, "The mango was sour-ish and hard; black sticky rice had a good texture but little flavor...used to my sticky rice either having a coconut or brown sugar taste." For the Strawberry Souffle Cake, one person stated that it was just ok and that there was nothing to compare it to - but still worth trying. And for the Crepe Cake, one person mentioned, "It had good flavor; it was light, and better than the Souffle Cake." Apparently there was a mixed bag of emotions and opinions to this place; therefore, I'll combine the efforts and say that this place was just ok, as depicted in my 3-star rating.
The price-to-quantity/quality ratio was satisfactory. The décor in this place was nice (some may call it "cute"). If you're into those mainstream social media platforms, this place seems like it could be worthy of your attention. But since I'm not into those, I suppose posting pictures and a review on Google will suffice. Overall, I'm recommending this place to everyone. Yes, this place wasn't as spectacular as some of the other dessert shops in Las Vegas or the entire country for that matter, but it's still worth trying. Note: If you need to use the restroom while experiencing this dessert shop, you'll need to ask an employee for the keys and walk in the lobby area outside of the...
Read moresweet talk is the type of place that looks aesthetic AND tastes delicious--which i feel is such a rarity nowadays.
which is why this place is probably one of my highlights when traveling to lv. esp as a tourist from san francisco, the price is so affordable for the high and amazing quality in both drinks and dessert. i love you guys.
the service + employees were sososososo nice and friendly && the wait time was little to none. since ive never been here, they were very patient with me and gave me recommendations on what to get which is so helpful. ty bby gorl. they also offered a stamp card but i came here on my last day before i had to fly back, so i was bummed out :')
i was definitely tempted to get the piggy pudding since it was front and center of the yelp page BUT the corn lookin cake caught my eye and i do not regret choosing corn over pig. (maybe a regret is not getting more than one dessert -7-)
the taste of the mango passionfruit mousse was spectacular--imo it is very authentic cus it's rich but not that sweet and doesn't taste artificial. and the purée and fresh mango-- you can taste that high qualityness, they did not skimp out. i highly recommend the corn lookin mousse :')
the starry night was also sososo delicious. just exceeded the standards for boba as someone who constantly drinks boba. next time, imma add aloe vera as a topping cus i think that would make it tastes mega bussin.
if i ever come back to vegas, u bet i'd probably max out that stamp card in...
