I was introduced to this place by the BJJ fam bam and I thought we entered a portal that took us back to Shibuya. Super Kawaii overload...

This store is packed with cosmetic and beauty supply products from Japan. I found out after my visit that there were also products from Korea as well. There were men's products as well. I picked up the: Gatsby Cool-Type Shaving Gel - Works well with my skin. I have real sensitive skin on my chin and this gel is very gentle and doesn't irritate it. Oxy Moist Lotion - I used this as an aftershave. I razor shave my head and this lotion is fantastic with soothing razor burn. Cool and Sandalwood Air freshner - The scent matches well with the dark wood furniture in my Master bedroom. The "deodorant body paper" packs is the Japanese version of wet wipes and they come in better fragrances imo. I always keep a pack in my sling bag. They come in very handy on the run. The sexual toys section was so discrete I thought they were massagers until someone pointed them out to me. They carry Japanese brand condoms if you're curious about that.

The Air Freshner I wanted was out of stock during my visit. I prepaid and they contact me as soon as it arrived in the store. Everyone was very friendly, respectful and helpful. The prices for the products I bought were slightly higher than I'm used to but the quality was worth it for me. I'll be back to reload and see what else pops up in here...

The Reiwatakiya store is honestly super cute — it has that cozy, clean, and aesthetic vibe that makes you want to buy everything on the shelves. The product selection is great and the layout is adorable.

However, my experience was kind of ruined by one of the staff. The tall lady with short hair wearing a pink sweater tried to help me pick a makeup shade, but she completely recommended the wrong one. I trusted her opinion, but when I got home and tried it, it looked nothing like my tone — way off! I know everyone can make mistakes, but it felt like she didn’t really take the time to look or listen when I explained what I needed.

So, while the store itself is really cute and worth visiting, I’d recommend double-checking your shades and maybe not relying too much on that particular staff member’s...

Terrible customer service!!! I'd give it zero star if I could. The workers are truly terrible. There were three, and they were hanging out laughing so loud at the register. It was totally inappropriate and made a lot of us shoppers questioning if we were back in high school during lunch hour?? Prices and products can be a hit or miss. The girl at the register that rang me up was on her phone the entire duration of rining me up. She continued to have her eyes glued to her phone while handing me my receipt. Omfg.. you can not make this up ! I'm surprised this place is still running. Someone needs to open a Japanese skincare store, you wouldn't have any...
