My husband and I ordered the Ramen Flight…and we were incredibly disappointed.

I would like to preface this with the fact we ordered late at night…so maybe that’s why the proteins were so terrible. They clearly had been sitting around for hours.

You can share the ramen with about 3-4 people, but there isn’t enough protein for that many people. The portions of ramen are generous.

The steak was gross. Ours was overcooked, full of grizzle/fat, and lacked any flavor. The wings were also overcooked and were not edible. The shrimp was decent. My husband said the soft shell crab was okay, but it lacked any kind of flavor.

As far as the ramen…it was okay. Most of the ramen was bland despite looking great. We really didn’t enjoy any part of the meal, and we left very disappointed. We ordered around 10:00pm, received our food about 20 minutes later…felt like it wasn’t too close to closing time and even asked if it was okay to order the flight.

We obviously wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, but it seems like many people like it. So, maybe it was just a bad night or bad timing. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Personally, there are far better places to visit when in Chinatown. I wouldn’t risk a subpar...

Mood - Pictures

You know that saying a picture is worth a 1000 words. That was my first thought when I saw the Tomahawk all cut up and beautiful in a review. I knew I was going to go eat lunch by myself and have some serious self reflection with a Tomahawk.

Upon entering was quickly greeted and ushered to sit wherever I chose. I opted for a booth as I knew I was going to try a few dishes and I wanted the space. Menu was brought over and drink order was taken.

I opted for the Cucumber Salad, Green Tea, Edamame, and Black Garlic Noodle w/ Tomahawk. GOLLY GUNTHER. It was better than anticipated and the pictures did no justice.

Interior is huge. There are several seating arrangements. This restaurant can accommodate small to enormous parties. Everything was very clean. Music was playing in the background.

Would most def recommend. Pricing was actually reasonable for portions and quality. The service was on point. Everyone was so courteous and hospitable. Truly made up for the day I was having.

Location is Spring Mtn/ Decatur- 2nd floor use the back parking lot as it...

Now that my keyboard is working, I can tell all about the delicious food at Yohama!

First of all, the yuzu lemonade is to die for! So sweet and crisp! The gyoza was also very flavorful and juicy, and the soy sauce mix they served with them had a nice citrusy punch to it.

The piece de résistance was by far the ramen flight. My husband and I had fun tasting each one, the meats provided were succulent, and even between the two of us we had more food than we could finish! My favorites were definitely the tonkatsu and curry ramen, and he loved the tonkatsu and miso! The presentation was also gorgeous and I wish I'd taken a picture of it.

The service was impeccable as well! We felt very seen by the front of house staff and they made sure we had everything we needed. The gentleman who took our order also did a perfect pour of Sapporo which my husband appreciated.

Atmosphere wise, it is a simple and elegant decor. It reminded us a lot of the ramen shops we went to while stationed in Japan. Bright, good music, and plenty of open space.

We can't wait...

Did you know you can find a $79 40oz tomahawk steak that comes with noodle soup in Chinatown?!! @yohamanoodles We checked out this spot that I kept seeing on IG and everything we tried was yummy 😋 It’s a fusion restaurant so they have a little bit of this and a little bit of that! Think Thai style jerky + Japanese tako yaki + Korean kimchi fried rice! Their popular YOHAMHAWK is $79 and can easily be shared between 2-4 people with some apps. The steak was really tender and I loved the green chili and tamarind sauce it came with 💕 It comes with a bowl of noodle soup and I recommend the creamy soup that has a curry base like Khao soi 🔥 Share this with the group chat 🤌🤌 📌 Yohama Noodles 5115 Spring Mountain Rd, Ste 217, Las Vegas, NV 89146 Best food in Chinatown Las Vegas Vegas hidden gems Tomahawk steak in vegas Best Asian food in vegas Cheap eats in vegas #tomahawksteak #noodlesoup #chinatownlv #yohamanoodles #vegashiddengem #vegasfood #vegaslocals #wheretoeatinvegas #eater #thrillist #yelplv #meanwhileinvegas #vegasasianfood #lasvegasfoodie

I initially booked a table at Sushi Neko Japanese Restaurant, one of my favorites, but the wait was an unexpectedly long two hours, likely due to it being a busy Friday night. Seeking an alternative, I decided to try Yohama Noodles nearby. Overall, my experience at Yohama Noodles was pleasant. The standout dishes for me were the Wonton Soup and the Black Garlic Pork, both of which were delicious and well-prepared. The flavors were rich and satisfying, making these dishes highly recommendable. However, the Shrimp Tempura did not meet my expectations. The batter was not as crispy as I had hoped, and the shrimp lacked the fresh taste I was looking forward to. In conclusion, while Yohama Noodles has some excellent offerings, especially the Wonton Soup and Black Garlic Pork, I would not recommend the Shrimp Tempura. If you’re in the area and looking for a good meal, Yohama Noodles is worth a visit, but you might want to skip the tempura. The service is excellent!

This place was fantastic. I tried the spicy miso soup (not very spicy, but they give you their house chili oil on the side which has a very nice crisp for additional heat), the broth was flavorful, thin al dente noodles (so key), soft boiled marinated egg, nice thin fatty pork, green onions and mushroom. They were thoughtful in all aspects for the bowl so i knew it would be good. I also tried the broth of my friends creamy beef which seems to be a tomyum inspired broth and that too tasted fantastic so ill be getting the creamy shrimp next for sure. Very affordable pricing too. The staff was quick, food came out quick, attended to us when we were low on water and asked us if everything was good so excellant customer service. The atmosphere was clean and spacious. Definitely try the yuzu sherbert, it tasted like a orange lime and very fragrant.
