My husband and I ordered the Ramen Flight…and we were incredibly disappointed.
I would like to preface this with the fact we ordered late at night…so maybe that’s why the proteins were so terrible. They clearly had been sitting around for hours.
You can share the ramen with about 3-4 people, but there isn’t enough protein for that many people. The portions of ramen are generous.
The steak was gross. Ours was overcooked, full of grizzle/fat, and lacked any flavor. The wings were also overcooked and were not edible. The shrimp was decent. My husband said the soft shell crab was okay, but it lacked any kind of flavor.
As far as the ramen…it was okay. Most of the ramen was bland despite looking great. We really didn’t enjoy any part of the meal, and we left very disappointed. We ordered around 10:00pm, received our food about 20 minutes later…felt like it wasn’t too close to closing time and even asked if it was okay to order the flight.
We obviously wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, but it seems like many people like it. So, maybe it was just a bad night or bad timing. 🤷🏻♀️ Personally, there are far better places to visit when in Chinatown. I wouldn’t risk a subpar...

You know that saying a picture is worth a 1000 words. That was my first thought when I saw the Tomahawk all cut up and beautiful in a review. I knew I was going to go eat lunch by myself and have some serious self reflection with a Tomahawk.
Upon entering was quickly greeted and ushered to sit wherever I chose. I opted for a booth as I knew I was going to try a few dishes and I wanted the space. Menu was brought over and drink order was taken.
I opted for the Cucumber Salad, Green Tea, Edamame, and Black Garlic Noodle w/ Tomahawk. GOLLY GUNTHER. It was better than anticipated and the pictures did no justice.
Interior is huge. There are several seating arrangements. This restaurant can accommodate small to enormous parties. Everything was very clean. Music was playing in the background.
Would most def recommend. Pricing was actually reasonable for portions and quality. The service was on point. Everyone was so courteous and hospitable. Truly made up for the day I was having.

First of all, the yuzu lemonade is to die for! So sweet and crisp! The gyoza was also very flavorful and juicy, and the soy sauce mix they served with them had a nice citrusy punch to it.
The piece de résistance was by far the ramen flight. My husband and I had fun tasting each one, the meats provided were succulent, and even between the two of us we had more food than we could finish! My favorites were definitely the tonkatsu and curry ramen, and he loved the tonkatsu and miso! The presentation was also gorgeous and I wish I'd taken a picture of it.
The service was impeccable as well! We felt very seen by the front of house staff and they made sure we had everything we needed. The gentleman who took our order also did a perfect pour of Sapporo which my husband appreciated.
Atmosphere wise, it is a simple and elegant decor. It reminded us a lot of the ramen shops we went to while stationed in Japan. Bright, good music, and plenty of open space.
We can't wait...
