First timer at Medusas. As soon as you walk in, it’s a total vibe. Got greeted and welcomed by multiple people. It’s a small intimate location, but it fits all the boxes. Music and drinks were flying. Had their Paloma and it was a delicious start to the night. The decor was on point as well. Started with their queso fundido which was a delight. I know it’s just queso, but it comes with flour tortillas so you can make yourself a little queso taco. The menu has a plethora of choices and it took me a while to pick. Finally decided on the fish tacos. They use a tilapia for this dish and the tacos packed a punch of flavors. It’s a la carte style so you pick how many you want. I also added beans and rice to my meal. The two salsas that came with the plate were a delight. Both packed a little heat, so be careful and try them before you slam your tacos with them. It’s was a green and red salsa and both had plenty of flavor but to me the red salsa was a bit spicier. Overall it’s a great place to go with friends, co workers or a date. You won’t be disappointed.

I’m giving 3 stars because my friend really liked her meal- otherwise I would give 2. She got a sirloin, the rosemary potatoes, and Mac and cheese. The waiter was also very kind and knowledgeable. But, we ordered French 75s and they were pretty bad, mine wasn’t drinkable and my friends wasn’t good either. They got us some more and they were better but super sweet. I ordered the asada fries and they were pretty disappointing. The fries were lack luster, steak was burnt ends and pieces of fat, the “guacamole” was not fresh, seemed like it came from a jar. Lastly the music was just SO loud, there was one other table in there and it was soo hard to hear each other speak, and at 8 they turned the music up more, and we couldn’t hear at all (we were the only table at that point).

Came here for my birthday dinner and this is the best birthday dinner I've had in years. The waiter was SO attentive and on it! Me and my husband had a great experience here. The vibe, the people, everything was just PERFECT! I can't appreciate this place more the atmosphere and manager were more than perfect! Always making sure we were good! Thank you so much for giving me the best dinner sirloin, broccoli, and potatoes. Can't thank you enough. Absolutely perfect. Drinks are an absolute necessity!! So worth the money which makes every bit of this experience more than worth it ❤️🫂 can't recommend the sirloin and cheese curds enough!!!! Also try the razzle dazzle! It'll make your day or night!!

Went on Friday night for my fourth time, have liked it every time, food has always been good. However, Friday night was different. It isn't the food that I am dinging, although I never received my food on Friday so I can't comment on it that night. The service is the absolute worst I have encountered at any restaurant ever.

I had two friends in town and had always liked this food so we went. First of all, I ordered a daiquiri. The first time I went here, I asked the bartender if he knew how to make one and he did and made them for me all night and they were great. Second time, I didn't drink because my friend didn't drink. The next two times (including this visit), the server told me they don't make frozen drinks. I explained I did not order a frozen drink, I had to tell the bartender (a different one than the first time) how to make one with its simple three ingredients. Finally got my drink, it was good. Did not like the fact that the servers have absolutely no idea what simple drinks are and tried to argue with me about it.

The food started to come out, my friend from out of town got his chicken (which I also ordered) about 10 minutes before any of the rest of us five got our food. After ten minutes, three more meals arrived, I still did not have my chicken or the last friend didn't have his burger. After about five minutes, his burger came, still no sign of my chicken. Two people had totally finished their food when I stood up and told my server I didn't want my food as everyone at the table had finished. She seemed shocked I didn't have my food yet. She offered anything else and I said no as I was livid at this time.

I sat down and ordered another drink, my friend had already ordered a margarita flight. He finally asked about it and they had lost that order. I saw the manager, who was there the entire time not managing, but talking to a girl at a table in the corner and told him what a horrible experience we had that evening. His response was "the server told me, I am sorry and we will try to do better" then continued talking to the girl. I'm not sure what he could have said to make me happy, but that sure wasn't it.

The food here, when you actually get it, has been spectacular. The staff, however, is horrible. I hope the owner reads this and takes this as constructive criticism and not an attack on the restaurant. The entire staff needs to be trained in customer service and getting orders correct and out together. My suggestion is close a few days, fire everyone, and start...

I've been going here for the past couple of years and it has been the go to place to take friends from out of town and it was great... that said, we took a couple with us tonight and things have changed! New menu, new servers and less quality. The first thing we noticed was the lack of server interest and after receiving our greasy flavorless appetizer we had to wait and ask for silverware and napkins... the waitress didn't know the menu either because aparently it just changed and nobody told the staff. But to the real problem, the burger options are now 1 and they don't offer real cheese and when got them the orders were mostly wrong and the new "Medusa" burger is something you can order off the Junior menu at Sonic for MUCH less! The fries were still good but overall what a sad decline for a place we've gone since just after opening. I wish them well and I want awesome things for Emma Street but this is not good. P.S. a drink of Buffalo Trace Whiskey was $20 and it's $11 down the street at Gaskins Steak House. We're...
