I just placed an order for pick up got home and one of the meals we ordered was incorrect. I placed an order of crispy shrimp with walnuts 15.95 and what I received was coconut shrimp 13.00. I called them explaining we did not receive the correct meal. The lady proceeds to explain that they “must have forgotten to put the walnuts in top that’s all.” I state that no that’s not what we ordered nor can we eat coconut which we did not order. She argues back and forth with me and she says they will give me a $5 credit... a 16$ meal in exchange for a $5 credit are you kidding me... so my only other option was to come back and get another meal. She then proceeds to tell me to return the other meal..I’ve never been so appalled by service. So I took the 15 min drive back there to get the correct meal and returned the other. Unbelievable.. I wish the person who they give it too next knew it was already leaned over..why else would they want the meal back? They could have let us have for the inconvenience and arguing that it was the same without walnuts but yet cost 3$ more. The egg roll was the smallest I have ever seen., the miso soup had maybe one piece of tofu cut into blocks size of rice. The wonton soup was overly salty. Overall this experience did ruin the family dinner we had planned, the service was appalling and the food was mediocre. I will never return here or recommend this place to anyone. Serves us right for trying a different place than our normal... Wild Ginger across the street is hands down the best as well as great service. If you are thinking of Chinese/Japanese definitely go to wild ginger and steer clear of Ginmaya.
Things wouldn’t have went so sour if they would’ve owned up there mistake and made it right instead of the opposite. So displeased that I just sat here and wasted 20 mins of my life writing this review in hopes they change their policy for future patrons. Thanks you...
Read moreWe usually get take out but we decided to sit in for the experience. We saw the pictures of the sushi and didn't believe that this place would actually plate that. So we went in and ordered 2 maki specials and 3 ala-cart sushi rolls. And we were enjoying our service and watched them prepare orders for take out and dine in. And when we first saw the dine in orders being completed we were blown away. The pictures do no justice on how beautiful it truly looks. They take time and effort to truly create something beautiful. And our server was checking in on our food and we were just amazed by how amazing the food was when it got to our table it almost looked to pretty to eat and it tasted amazing. We definitely agreed that any time we come we will always dine in just to see what they create next. I fully recommend coming here. It is good sushi for a fair price and...
Read moreI have been coming here for a little over 7 years. The food quality was very good for several years. Today, this is by far the worst experience. They have changed the ingredients and quality of the food. I asked for Yum Yum sauce and the waitress told me that there was a $1 charge for sauce after I had order 2 already. I asked for a member of Management and she said that she was Management. The customer service is horrible and nothing seems to be the same. I will NEVER come back and don't recommend this place to anyone unless you want to be mistreated. What makes matters worst, I would not need Yum Yum sauce if they seasoned the food properly.
I found this location on Google several years ago and definitely recognized that customer service is important. I hate to believe that because I am of a different culture that I should...
