Fiesta Mexico — Restaurant in Springettsbury Township

Love authentic Mexican food. Eat lots of it and have been fed by Latinx families for decades, so I have a palette for it. And for certain this is very good food, especially the Harrisburg location (see my review for that location). The version in York doesn't quite hold up, though. The portions for lunch are small, but didn't work to fill me up. The tortillas didn't seem fresh, and hard edges on carnitas (pork) in my chimichanga that was supposed to be deep-fried, but was way more soft than crispy (and unfresh). But that's not what did this whole visit in. In the menu, one the last pages, the Lunch Menu exists. Slightly cheaper prices. But on the mid-bottom right side exists a Drink Specials section that includes several flavors of margarita for $4.75-5.25. After pointing out these drinks on both my wife's menu and my own, we eventually received relatively average-sized frozen margaritas. They were tasty, but not drop dead amazing. When we received the bill, without looking at the itemized version, I inserted my card and sent it off. She returned, I saw the itemized items when trying to calculate tip. Each drink was NINE DOLLARS AND TEN CENTS. I knew this must be a mistake. We confronted our waitress and she repeatedly told us "No. You got regular size," referring to the drinks. We explained that we both pointed them out to her. She remained adamant about it and then walked away. No manager, no further arbitration. Just that we were wrong and walked off. I figured that her attitude about the situation warranted her paying for the additional costs via her tip, as most others would. So zip tip and we left. We don't plan on returning, misunderstanding or not. When a business makes a mistake, at least admit it, even if you can't give something for it. So go in...

We had a reservation for 20 ppl. We got one server and I won’t say he was horrible but it most definitely wasn’t the best service. We were ordering and at one point he started walking away without taking my husbands order so my husband got his attention to come back and take it. Later when our food was served it turns out and I do feel horrible for assuming everyone had ordered I noticed that 3 of our children who are teenagers had also not gotten their order taken when I asked they said he took their menus and walked away and didn’t come back till he was serving our food. I felt absolutely horrible that everyone was eating except them. I had asked for nachos and specifically asked that it have no onions and when I received my food it has onions galore. I had to wait 15 mins for our waiter to actually come back to let him know that I could not eat it due to being allergic. I wasn’t asked if there was something else I liked he just took it and walked away. We were half way through when they got their food. Then it took him about 30 mins to give two of our guest who had to leave to work their change and card back. I felt it was very unprofessional. I did take into consideration that he had other customers but u did not feel like he truly gave us his attention or great service. And considering he made a well over $50 in tip I expected more. I was embarrassed as a host and apologized because this was supposed to be a celebration instead everyone left with complaints. I chose this restaurant for me and my friends to enjoy our evening to celebrate my graduation. Service was absolutely horrible, staff kept staring at us, walking passed us as we continuously try and get their attention. Our server was argumentative, carless, inattentive, rude and spoke to us like we were on the street rather than in her care. Due to this being all of our first time there we noticed all the red flags immediately and felt unsafe because my friend has a serious food allergy and the server disregarded that info and went ahead and allowed her food to come to the table improperly made. My friend would have been in the hospital if she'd of ate what she was given. The server argued with us about taking food back that was not properly made. Made a nasty drink and spoke to us as if we were little children that can't handle an alcoholic drink. They tried to make my friend pay for her plate that was filled with things she cannot touch let alone EAT! Staff kept speaking in Spanish so we couldn't understand but I know a little and the words that stood out were curse words and degrading name calling.I never have been disrespected so bad at a...
