Subway — Restaurant in Springettsbury Township

Owner and supervisor purposely turned the lights out on me in the bathroom. Safety hazard and I could have slipped I know it was with intent since I told them I was going to the restroom and I heard them talking about me taking too long in the restroom. I threw up and was cleaning up my mess when it happened. The owner also verbally assaulted me after harassing me for not being fast enough to wipe tables down when there were no customers. And proceeded to block me from leaving when I decided enough was enough and wanted to walk out. I hope not all subways are like this one. Now I understand why I've been hearing that this company has such a bad reputation. No respect for others, and discrimination from the owner. And lots of harassment from higher ups. I do...

The staff were incredibly unfriendly. The older staff lady was rude to the younger staff lady. Another staff member was asleep at one of the tables. I asked for double meat and they didn't have quite enough to put double meat on my sandwich and still charged me for double meat anyway. The older staff lady was also rude to a group of young girls, questioning their sandwich choices and getting smart with the one girl because she didn't want any toppings on her sandwich. When we left, the old lady and the young man who had been sleeping were out front smoking a cigarette and they stared at us as we were putting our kids in the car. Went in for dinner and was there 45 minutes just getting our food, not eating, mostly waiting. Why because there was only ONE employee working on a Saturday night, this was not her fault. I asked where the managers were, because there should have been one working, that's what you do as a manager, you fill in if you can not find anyone else to work, that is a part of your job as a manager and I don't care if you are in Lancaster, your job is to support the employee that did show up for their shift!
