Subway — Restaurant in Springettsbury Township

I strongly believe I was racially profiled. I visited this business on 8/21/25 .. I went into Walmart to purchase a drink and some grocery items for dinner. I stopped inside of the Subway restaurant to use the WiFi to submit a document for my online class because I have a newborn baby and was preparing to go to a doctor’s appointment after leaving Walmart. I was on the phone with my teacher and the young lady making the sandwiches basically screamed out “you can’t sit in here if you’re not purchasing anything” my friend spoke to her I believe she said “oh we are purchasing something or we purchased something from Walmart and she’s just sending an email” by the time I finish sending the email which was 2 minutes later a security guard from Walmart is standing there stating the lady said we had to leave, at that point we started to walk out of the Subway by time I reached the front door the girl is yelling “GET OUT” (while serving another customer) meanwhile I am walking out with a 4 month old baby. Idk if she expected me to run out the store with a baby but I feel this isn’t experience Walmart or Subway should be giving their customers whether they are purchasing a drink or nothing at all. I'm giving 2 stars purely as a benefit of the doubt that the food might have been good. Alas I did not get to try it. 3 people working at a snails pace with only 2-3 other customers ahead of me. Spent 15 minutes waiting and not even one sandwich for the individuals in front of me had been completed.

I've been to many of Subways with less people working and a much longer line and still got my food made and paid for quicker than this location could even serve one person.

I'd like to note they were also attempting to correct an order that was incorrectly made for another customer who had been served.

First of all the guy with the curly hair is great! He always engages with us and jokes around I love that. With that being said though the place feels so blah! They’re short staffed clearly and he does his best to work through the line without feeling rushed so thank you for that. I personally thought rather not eat here because the atmosphere is depressing. The worst thing about this place is that the ICEE machine first is a bit pricey. I paid $6 and some change for 2 when honestly I should have just gone to Sam’s club as it’s ¢.89 there but that’s not my issue. It tasted like frost bite it was gross.
