I've been to BWW a few times in Bel Air before & its a good experience. However this one was not. It was a Friday night so you would think this place would be bumping. It wasn't which was weird because the one im used to is always packed. I was perfectly fine with us being one of the only tables in this big restaurant. (Thought maybe faster service?) We didnt get greeted when we walked in, even after walking past several employees. There wasn't even a hostess upfront anywhere in sight, which isnt too big of a deal because we were meeting friends who already got a table anyway. But we had to text them to see where they were because there was no hostess. It took us forever to get our menus, way after the drinks order. We were probably there for 1.5 hours before getting our food for a group of 7. Now I know that it's a larger group so it should take longer to get serviced. But the place was EMPTY. They didnt appear to be short staffed either because there was several employees standing around. I will say I don't really blame the waitress. The menus did take forever to get to us but that could be a simple mistake... She was very friendly but the restuarant itself was just slow. A table that sat a few tables down from us was there for AWHILE too before they got their food. For atleast 45 mins. I saw their waitress bring them their food and was shocked/thought to myself "i thought they were finished eating/just talking , theyve been here forever." they had a different waitress. (cook's fault?) We were DEFFINATLY not the only ones that felt this way, I could see the look on the face of the table, as they most likely waited 1+ hr for food aswell& it was only a table of 2. A table of 7 is hard to serve so I of course estimated a delay but its a Friday night &the place was empty! I think we were honestly our waitresses' only table. To put it in perspective my ice in my alcoholic beverage melted completely by the time we ordered our food. ( I didnt want to drink until I had food in my stomach) .When we recieved our food my boneless wings were honey bbq & they were + spicy. This is the BWW flavor I always get and never had issues of spice. The big kicker is at the end of the night I asked for a vegas bomb. (About almost 2 hours after recieving my first alcoholic drink.) The waitess said I could only have it because I didnt finish my 1st drink (It was watered down & gross at this point) she said its because females get intoxicated way worse than males. Yet my (girl) friend next to me had 2 mudslides & a vegas bomb with no questions & they were only there for 45 mins and left. Compared to us being there for 2 hours? Meanwhile the boys at the table all got atleast 3 vegas bombs & tall glasses of beer with no questions asked and were clearly already somewhat intoxicated as opposed to me. I dont blame the waitress for doing her job &believe it came from the bartender or managers word of order. My issue isnt with cutting me off after 1drink.(all tho it never happened at Bel Air bww) I know they are doing their job &looking out for their customers safety..But I felt like that it was extremely sexist (could have cut the boys off at 2 drinks &girls at 1 but the boys werent cut off at all)&lack of consistency in policy as the girl next to me had 3 drinks... and we literally were there for 2 hrs &my girl friend who was there for 45 mins got served more than me. It was just extremely unorganized & miserable. The fact that there was about 20 customers in the resturaunt & it took us 1.5 hours to get food is just insane for a Friday night when you think theyd be staffed. Another employee started to sweep extemely close to our table and it was really uncomfortable as it was only 10:30 and we just got our food about 30 mins ago or less, and the place is open till 1am. The place is empty so why sweep around our table when the whole place is available to clean and its clear we will leave soon. My friend while leaving said "this was the most terrible experience" and hes right. For the expensive food(i barely ate) & slow service...not...
Read moreI've been dining with Buffalo Wild Wings for years and never had such a horrible experience. There were a MULTITUDE of problems and have never experienced such poor service before in my life. Long story short our waitress (Middle Aged Female, Heavy Set) was EXTREMELY rude, didn't check in with us, didn't provide any service, and tried to rush us out while EATING. She needs to be retrained or fired, but our small group have never been treated so poorly in any establishment. She should not be in food service industry. Just an FYI the place was not crowded, there were multiple waitresses on staff, and another to bring out the food. So it was not like this person had been over worked.
My group (3 people including myself) were travelling through and needed a late evening dinner before checking in at our hotel. We sat down and started looking at the menu until the waitress came to take our drink orders. We were going to get an alcoholic beverage, two of us had our IDs with us, one left theirs in the car. So upon being asked for an ID, which is normal protocol, and realizing that they forgot their ID just declined to order alcohol. So as we (the other two) were showing their IDs, the waitress makes a comment in a nasty way, "if she drinks from your alcoholic drink, I am going to have to take away your drinks". So after that comment we simply declined alcohol in general because the nasty comment. None of us were underage and while that is normal protocol, we were there only for dinner really and drinks wouldn't have hurt. Because of the nasty comment we just declined on the whole. So as we were getting ready to give the food order the waitress then goes and says "I'm not taking your food orders now i didn't bring anything to write it down with" again in a very nasty manner. So she comes back with our drinks and takes our food order. Two of us had our food brought out quickly the other food order took 10-15 minutes to be brought out. We had to ask her to go in the kitchen to check to see if it was ready.
All of our food was cold and not fresh. The order that had 15 traditional wings came with ALL the sauces mixed - nothing separate. The waitress never checked on us. She brought all the blue cheeses/ranch late. Never asked us for refills for our water/ soda. One of the people who had showed her an ID asked to for a beer, she didn't reply, barely nodded her head and just walked away. So now while starting to eat our food the waitress immediately asks if we want the check. We obviously declined considering she still hadn't even brought the beer one person asked for. She then remembered and brought over the beer and asked us again if we want the check. We had only just started eating and she was extremely rude for coming up to us asking to give us our bill so early. It was not even closing time and all other tables she was waiting had not been given their bills. The bill was just shy of $65 and we decided to leave that amount and not pay any tip. The receipt was barely visible and we could not even get our Blazin Rewards because the receipt was illegible. I have never received such poor service in my...
Read moreMy partner and I went there on Saturday evening to eat. They had a very large party seated at several tables pushed together. One for adults, one for kids. There were about 15-20 adults and 15-20 kids. They had the remainder of about 3 tables left on the floor. Then the booths. The parents of these kids did no parent the children at all. There were several times I had kids that would fake dive into our booth, a basket ball was thrown our direction several times, and they were all (parents and kids) screaming like they were at a backyard BBQ. Lids were running around dancing and yelling. It was a zoo. At no point did any management come to manage that situation or control it and at no point did the parents either.
Our server seated us, took our order and came back within a decent time frame with our drinks. After ordering an appetizer, I noticed a sale they are having for endless apps. At no point was this offered and should have been…He then came back out with our appetizer, no utensils to eat it, no refills on drinks, No water was ever offered, he left us to it to eat with our fingers. Hot food on the finger tips was cool I guess, with not much to drink it down with was even better. Another sever came back with our food and brought us utensils after seeing an empty tray with no utensils on it.. but never took the empty tray. We then ate our spicy wings with minimal drink and was never asked how anything was or if we needed anything. We wanted a to go box for the remainder of our food but our server never came back to us. After watching him stand up at the front and laugh and giggle with the other staff for 10-15 min more, we made our way to the front, which they bring your check to you, this guy never did.. I asked to check out, he never asked if we needed anything, which i did, a box to go, a bottle of sauce and a manager for the poor service we received. Please keep in mind, we were still dealing with yelling and screaming from the other parties who were being attended to. This experience made me never want to return. We always order it to go but decided to eat out for once since we had no kids. It totally dampened our evening as far as fun goes. I don’t recommend going on a weekend....
