Awful place! We are traveling north from Florida, my wife and I came across this restaurant which we never heard from before. "Friendly Family Service", as they promote the business. From the moment we walk in the lobby was dirty and the waitres greated us while she was cleaning her counter with a napkin. Since we have been driving for a few hrs we both decided to use the restroom before we sat our tables, once seated at out table we discovered the restaurant offered a buffet service. My wife asked the waitress to explain us the food and the restaurant style to which the waitress replied in a very serious way, " here you have to pay for your food you consumed" " It is not free" my wife and i look at each other and felt like something had happen with our waitress but we missed on. Her presence and attitud was uncorfotable from the moment we walkin but we could not be certain if we had done something wrong. After waiting seconds to place our food order, we realize something was very wrong with our server, you dont treat anyone specially a customer so rudly. We asked for a manager and we offered to pay for our two sodas but he refused to accept our money, he apology for any inconvenience and we just told him we would not eat at any place were the staff makes you feel uncorfortable. It is rare my wife and i walk away before a dinner experience, this place gave us a terrible taste for more unpleasant things to come. All what I can say. AN...
Read moreI was pleasantly surprised by the amazing experience that I had the other night from this Eat'n Park location in Grove City. I came close to closing time and I know that could be a time when staff are drained from the day and ready to leave. I saw nothing but friendly faces when I walked in, and was given great service during my stay. I was greeted and eventually served by Rayanne (who I think deserves a raise because she was amazing). I initially went to enjoy the salad bar and did not realized that it closes early, but sensing my disappointment, my greeter handed me a menu and asked if there was anything else that I would like and let me know that all the salads on the menu were still an option, just the bar was closed for the night. So I ended up staying and my greeter/server placed me at a booth that was one of the cleaner diner booths I have ever sat in. Not a crumb on the table the seat or the floor, and the table was dried properly, none of the soapy streaks that you see at my restaurants, well done. Also the menu I was given was just as clean, no streaks or sticky spots(sticky menus are the worst!). I ended up ordering an appetizer, a main entrée, and a dessert( I caved). But even though it was late and order a 3-course meal, the timing and temperature was great, and the presentation of my Dutch apple pie a la mode was better than any diner dessert I have purchased from Eat'n Park. Job well done,...
Read moreI have to say it seems as though the person in charge of what meals/appetizers are put on the menu is a child born in the "Y" generation. The new appetizer selections are tater tot based. They removed fried pickles for the second time. Also I have always ordered the Turkey Bacon Swiss sandwich which ofcoarse has since been removed from the menu. Up until the last month the staff & cooks had been able to make me that sandwich and explained that they still serve it although it is not on the menu. Now I have all but given up, every time I attempt to order it and explain what it is I want they always bring me some version of their croissant sandwich with this nasty sauce I specifically request not be put on. I have attempted to try many other menu items only to be disappointed. The baked cod now is the only meal I can stomach and how many times can you eat that before you become tired of it? All in all I miss Kings Family restaurant. No longer will I attempt to act as if I enjoy any of the food...
