Bozzelli's Italian Deli-Spring Mall — Restaurant in Springfield

Family-owned, local, high quality business for the win! We order from this Bozzelli's location once a week and I cannot recommend this place highly enough for both high quality service and AWESOME food!

We usually purchase their large pizza + 1 bottle of wine deal (my recommendation: meatball, fresh parmesan, and bacon on the pizza - also, the wine is of good quality! They focus on high quality for a good price...I appreciate that SO MUCH). My daughter bounces between the tuna fish sub and the turkey and Havarti, but sometimes orders the fries, too, which are delicious. My husband loves the chicken parmesan sub. The cannoli are amazing!!!

Okay, now here's the other part of my review...their delivery time is almost always early or right on time and they are NICE. Super friendly staff.

Ooh! And one more important thing...their pesto salad is awesome! I ordered one for the first time not that long ago and then ordered it again right after. It's a generous salad with super fresh...

We are frequent customers of Bozzelli's and consider their pizza the best in northern VA. That being said, tonight they went above and beyond. I sent an email to let them know that we received a pizza with the wrong toppings. This was just as an FYI and I didn't expect anything in return. The next thing I know, the doorbell rings and there is our delivery driver with a fresh pizza, chocolate cake and brownies. She apologized for the wrong pizza being delivered and thanked us for being customers. This shows that they truly care about their customers. Any other pizza place in the area would possibly have offered a coupon or maybe a free pizza if I came in to pick it up. And that would only happen if I called and talked to a manager. This is one more reason why I continue to ONLY order from Bozzelli's and always recommend them to friends...

Was excited to come back due to the customer service and pizza and my first time there, but yesterday came back and vibe was a bit off. Ordered an eggplant parm but received a chicken parm. Cashier even confirmed with me and still rang up a chicken parm. Flavor was okay, but the chicken on the pizza looked and tasted dry like it was sitting at the ready station. Forgot to add a side of pesto and their manager or person making the food was like it's a dollar extra which 25 cents more than what is on their menu on here.

Now that I think about it, only saw two people. So maybe their short staffed that day. Disappointed and maybe people were having a stressful day but I could of saved $45. Just wanted to be...
