I have visited this BK many times, and would've probably rated it a bit higher (3/4 stars) if it wasn't for my last visit there that was extremely inappropriate & uncomfortable. I wish now that I had complained to management, but I hadn't & this was over a year ago, I haven't been back since. It actually had nothing to do with the food, but rather, an employee who behaved in a very disrespectful manner towards me. I went through the drive thru one early weekday afternoon, we live about an hour away from this BK, but were in the area for an eye doctor appointment for one of my daughters. Anyhow, I proceeded to place my order at the speaker & when I pulled up to the second window for my food, I was more or less "harassed" by a male employee in an unacceptable flirtatious way. He could easily see that I had a male with me in the front seat, which happened to be my fiance & two young children in the back (toddlers at the time) but obviously he didn't care. Not knowing whether my male companion was my boyfriend or husband, he had no business making those comments that he made. Even if I had been alone, it's not ever okay to attempt to flirt with customers. I really hope he's since been complained about & fired for his negative actions & childish behavior. He said "You're looking mighty fine today!!" along with some other nonsense, when I reached my hands out for our bag of food. I just ignored him, not knowing what else to do. It was unexpected & extremely awkward & embarrassing to say the least. Never before have I been "hit on" at a fast food drive thru, nor do I want to have to deal with that again. People go to restaurants for convenience & good, cheap food. Not for potential dates. Thanks, but no thanks! Just wanted to share this in the hopes someone who works in management may read this incase he still works there. I didn't get his name, but he was on the taller side, Caucasian male, about average weight, I'm guessing probably around 30+ years old. This was awhile ago, so I can't remember many details because I just wanted to get out of there once this situation occurred, but he had dark eyes & hair, thicker eyebrows. Aside from this awful trip, my other stops at this BK have usually been pleasant & satisfactory. I remember another occasion where I had a pretty large order coming home from Bright Nights in Springfield & also went through drive thru & they got our order right & quality of food was great, hot, fresh & delicious. As long as you don't get the man who made rude comments, you'll probably do okay, if not very well at this location. It's a shame that a woman can't simply get lunch for her family without flirtatious, unwanted remarks. Even if I had been single, I would have taken offense to this. Very unprofessional! If you find a customer attractive, keep it to yourself please. Chances are, most will feel the same way I do & not appreciate being harassed, especially in front of their partner! My fiance told me to go back, because he hadn't heard what he said but when I repeated it, he was pretty upset & understandably...
Read moreWent to this location and ordered the veggie burger from the drive thru. Fortunately I didn't wait til I got home to take a bite because it was very hard. I said something to the counter person who then handed it to a female who appeared to be a manager. She then gave it to a male in the same style uniform who also confirmed that it was not edible. He asked me "Do you want another one, Honey"? I said yes and stood there while a third person was preparing it. It was very busy and I was standing for a few minutes and the male came back over and commented that "you don't look too happy, Honey". I then said that I didn't really need his opinion on my mood, but I would like the sandwich and stop calling me Honey. That brought on the taunts from him and the cook. I heard the cook say "Are you sure she just wants One"? they laughed and the manager gave me the sandwich and said he hoped that enjoyed the sandwich "Honey". All this for a...
Read moreThe Service at the Cooley location was TERRIBLE today (Saturday 4-2-22). After I got to the window, the cashier looked like it was his first day on the job. My breakfast order came to $12.28, and I paid $20.28 so I get $8.00 back in change. Simple (Yes?), wrong. He didn't have the receipt so he couldn't figure out how to give back $8.00 in change (clue). So he had to call for assistance. My large homefries were cold and only 3/4's full. No receipt. When I asked for one , yup he had to call for assistance again. It seems they ran out of paper, by no one offered me a solution. As I pulled away I looked at the bag. It was torn halfway down one side, no napkins and no ketchup (even though I asked for it). As I left, all I got was a lifeless stare from your cashier. So, Great help and Great Service ...
