Update: I went back on 12/22 because I had family visiting. We had a different waitress who was very kind. However, the waitress from 12/20 would not stop staring at me, going so far as walking by at one point and stopping next to me during the meal and giving me a dirty look. Not only was she giving me a dirty look, the rest of the staff after speaking with her was giving me and my family a dirty look. My family noticed and asked our waitress if everything was okay. My waitress tried to make it better by giving us a calendar which was very kind, but we politely left it on the table with our over 20% tip. We will never be returning and it is so sad, but hopefully we will find a place that makes us feel more comfortable and safe while enjoying our meal. If you go, their food is amazing, most of their staff is great, but the waitress with red hair that is curly may charge you a gratuity so please check before double-tipping. And watch how you interact with her so that she doesn’t treat you how she treated me. Happy holidays.

Original Post 12/20: I have come here for years and I regularly recommend friends and family. However, the experience I had tonight was so upsetting I left feeling disappointed and disheartened. I’ve noticed before that sometimes my bill is charged gratuity and sometimes it is not. When it is not charged automatically I always leave well over 20% out of principle. Tonight it was charged automatically and I finally asked the waitress why this was the case, because I’ve had her for the past couple weeks and I finally felt comfortable asking. She admitted that it was because she thought I would not tip. Keep in mind, moments before she returned my card to me, I told my husband to put away his cash that he was taking out for the tip in case they charged my card for the gratuity. I have posted dozens of photos in their restaurant and of their food on my socials. And I’m just so disappointed that I was judged and considered to be someone that isn’t mindful or caring for those in the service industry. She said “I know you now so I won’t charge you again”, but it still left me feeling really...

I was blown away by how rude the main server was to our party. Everyone in our party of 14, including two 8 year old girls, noticed how bad of an attitude this woman had with us. Started right from the beginning with the drink orders. Just very short, not friendly, and you could feel her irritation with us. Then she asked us if we were splitting the check and we replied yes. She actually ROLLED her eyes, SCOFFED, and said, "well how are we going to do this!?" This was said in the most rude tone that I have ever come across in any type of customer service experience in my life. My whole party was looking around at each other, wondering what was going on. After she brought out the drinks, she like tossed the straws at us and took some of the drink menus and slammed them down into a caddy. It was so aggressive and had all of us on edge. When my 13 year old son went to order from the kids menu, she questioned his age, as we didn't realize it was for 10 and under, and she was so hostile towards him about it and he didn't even know what was going on. He told her his age and she said, "13?! No you get regular size!" I snapped back at this point and told her to give him the hibachi sides then because he didn't need a whole adult meal, as he doesn't eat half the things that come with it. Luckily the chefs and the other wait staff were very pleasant but we wanted to leave after being treated that way at the start. It was so uncomfortable and put a little damper on the reason we were there, which was to celebrate 2 birthdays. Food was decent but really not worth the price. Nothing special really. I would not go back and will not be recommending this...

We have been going there since 2014 for my daughters birthday every year because hibachi is her absolute favorite. We have noticed that every year(the service) seems to be getting worse but have stayed loyal because it is very close to us and the food has always been good. Tonight the service was the worst we have ever had. We had a reservation for 7 and arrived early. We were sat and waited for a waitress. The waitress seemed very annoyed to even be there. A couple of us ordered drinks and the other people at the table were trying to ask but she walked away. She came back and was very rude and not attentive at all. No one was asked if they would like another drink so I had to go ask for someone to come and serve us and the other people who were not even with us. The cook came and did an excellent job but the waitress was no where to be found! Finally dinner was over and I had to find the waitress to ask her for a desert for my daughter. The waitress came we sang happy birthday and not 5 minutes later the manager told us that she was sorry but we had to leave because they had to seat other people! I had already paid and left a 20% tip(that I wish I hadn’t)We spent over 400 . I spoke to the manager trying to explain how rude that was and she basically could have cared less. Our reservation was for 6 and at 720 we were told we needed to go so they could seat othersWe will never go there again! Had they had adequate service we would have been in and out like they...

I cannot fathom how this place has 4.3 stars on Google. We literally had to chase the hostess to find our way to our seats, which happened to be right underneath a speaker blasting the greatest radio hits of the mid-2000's in what we can only describe as the 'Shower Curtain Room'. The plastic dividers between the booths are FILTHY. No soy sauce at tables, they just provide a modest amount with entrees/sushi. We were rushed to order and then abandoned once the food arrived. My partner's sushi was, in a word, gross. Random bits of skin still attached to some of the sashimi (artistic flare or ineptitude?), salmon just tasted off...needless to say she didn't finish it after one item tasted like soap. My pad Thai was passable, not much better than average takeout, but at least edible, contrary to the sushi. Cleaning supplies just left out for everyone to see, but no one seemed to care. Pretty bad when two people in their 40's who worked in the service industry strongly considered pulling a dine and dash. This place is garbage.

I have gone to the sit down hibachi grills yearly as a little treat sometimes, just recently I used Uber Eats to order some hibachi for dinner on a busy day, the food is always great, but today for the first time ordering it out instead of dining in- the 12$ hibachi chicken order was half full (if not more) of lettuce, which is not included. I ordered three hibachi sides. The noodles & fried rice were both for 7$, great food and you get good portions of them, delicious. But the chicken for 12$ was over half full with lettuce. I didn’t expect them to fill the container to the brim overflowing with chicken, but I feel it’s reasonable to ask for them to at least cover the bottom for a 12$ order of chicken. (And maybe more egg in the hibachi fried rice. I didn’t see any at all, not too big of a deal though it’s good) Edited: Thank you very much for the response and explanation! No worries at all!

Today’s experience was very disappointing. The restaurant was uncomfortably cold. Our food was brought out in the wrong order — we received the rice and sushi first, but no soy sauce. By the time the meat and soy sauce finally arrived, the rice and sushi were already cold. We had to ask a different server for a refill on our drinks because our server never checked on us. Then she only returned to drop off the check and took about 15 minutes with the card. Overall, everything went wrong.
