Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Springfield

I will be happy to raise my rating once I see this location settle down a bit from being fresh off of grand opening. Clearly they’re still working through some kinks. My main critiques are they are slow with their drive-thru, and do not have 2 lanes open yet (hurting them badly). I do not currently think they would be able to keep with that amount of traffic yet though, so I will allow some patience on that front. This location should aim to have that corrected within the next 3 months, however. Additionally, been here a few times and have had a few things forgotten. Straw, sauces, napkins. This is only extra annoying when being rushed out of the drive-thru. If you are going to rush people away and hand them their items quickly then walk away, you best be sure you are confident everything is in that bag. That is a silly way to earn bad ratings.

The food has been consistent and fairly on-par for standard Chick-fil-A quality. Currently a 2-star location until they can fix the aforementioned items.

I have never had Chick Fil-A before coming to this branch, and I can confidently say that this is the best fast food establishment of all time. Before I begin discussing the delicious food, I just want to say that the service here is phenomenal. They care greatly for their customers and I have never felt more welcomed in a restaurant before. Now, the food… the sauces are to die for. Like literally, I think that babies should be sacrificed for these sauces, heck, they probably are being sacrificed. There is literally no other way to explain why they are so good. I would personally suggest the Lime Avocado Ranch dressing, the Jalapeño Salsa, and the Chick Fil-A sauce. I only was able to eat from their breakfast menu, but that chicken (for lack of a better word) was ‘bussin. It was crispy, juicy, and tender. The color was golden brown just like my perfectly tanned skin. And that hash brown egg scramble, was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. Truly, a great time, I would recommend this...

It's fast food. I'm not sure what planet people are on giving this more than three stars but it's definitely not 4 or 5 stars. The food is definitely not bad but it's still on par with other fast food chains. We ordered the tenders, nuggets and grilled tenders and while the flavors were okay the portions were laughable. The size difference between tenders and nuggets was miniscule and the grilled chicken was similarly small. Tenders from this place are nowhere near as good as the tenders from KFC, so if you are going for some fast food tenders head down the street to KFC.

I can appreciate the speed of delivery and the heaters in the drive thru but at the end of the day this is a chicken place with relatively generic chicken. I'm not sure what the hype is. There are other chicken places around town that are as good if not better at roughly the same price point. I will probably go back but at the end of the day this is fast food chicken. Definitely not...
