If there was a star in the negative power that would be the rating. We traveled from Kansas City Missouri with a party of 8 plus 1 in a wheel chair our 12 year old daughter that is under hospice care. We were told the wait would be 30 minutes... a hour and half later we were still waiting; since half the group was waiting in the car and part inside we all came inside thinking we have to have a table by now. We were told about another 15 to 20 minutes by the same lady... (the short, chunky lady with the long brown hair) then she decided to ask if our 8 was including the wheel chair or not... offered us 1 free appetizer... (we dont want a free plate of food we just wanted to be seated and have service like the rest of the guests that came to eat but clearly she had not tried to place us at a table if she didn't understand our need) I asked for the top Manager on duty after we hit 2 hours of waiting. He come with a million and one excuses of how he was told our name was called a long time ago and we didn't respond. When I let him know that could not be true because someone was always in there waiting to hear our name. He responded that he doesn't know what happened but he would have to look back at the camera as if my word as the customer was not enough. I asked him what was the problem because I just wanted to understand why we couldn't be seated or even checked on as we waited so long. I said I am feeling like the only difference between our party and others Is the color of our skin being brown and we have a handicapped in our party. His response was we have people of color here and even gays... What do gays have to do with our skin being brown or 1 of us being handicapped??? No One ever apologized just made excuses and offered 1 free appetizer for our party of 8. The hostess was never friendly nor ever smiled or anything. This has been a experience of disgust and I would never go there again. Firstly, I want to clarify that I went in with a group of about 30 high schoolers, and that I completely understand a lack of individual service due to the large group. But I make my reviews as on point as possible, and will be critical where nessessary. Once again, I want to clarify that the food was great and the restaurant was nice, even including the bathrooms, which tends to be a tough one.
Origional Review: Although the food was good, it took 10 minutes for me to order my drink after everyone else, due to the waitress not realizing that I had come in late. It then took them half an hour to deliver my bottled root beer to me, which I believed was a little ridiculous, since the delivery was the only step nessessary, second to the opening of the bottle. If there is an issue, please let me know; I would rather drink something else sooner than have to wait for my original soda order. Secondly, I was also the last person to receive my food, even though it was literally a cookie with icecream on top. I know that I'm being rather critical here, but it's all of the little things that can contribute towards a general experience, and I just want other readers to accurately see my expirence. Read moreThis review is not about the food, but unfortunately the service. Our family was having a nice get together and we figured we would have dinner together. Somewhat of a family reunion, we were glad to hear they would be able to accommodate a larger group. I spoke with a manager on Monday and gave her our estimated number and she asked me to call back when I had an exact amount. She agreed on Saturday at the time we needed. I thanked her and got the rest of family on board. The next evening, I received a call asking to change our time. I informed this employee that we would not be able to do this due to family obligations. She told me the manager would probably call me the next day. I did not receive a call from them on Wednesday and on Thursday evening, I called and gave them our party size, as requested. She took the information and said she would pass it on to the manager. At 10:17 that night, I received a phone, which woke me up, from Coltons. They stated that they would not be able to accommodate our party.
