Due to the recent storm all residents at Allen Park Apartments were told that there would be 3 places where we were gonna be able to charge important devices like laptops, tablets and smartphones as they would be important for things like paying your bills, ordering pizza or food etc. Myself and my wife and autistic son had been without power going on four or l think it was 5 days. We chose Dunking Donuts as the more convenient as it was closest to our home. Upon entering the establishment it looked more like we were not really being welcomed because all the tables and no chairs were stacked together and printed paper that read no eating or something like that with two power supply wall outlets on either side of the room about 15 feet apart. No seating available. Anyways we could not charge our devices because my wife had forgotten to bring the charging plug and only had the cords for the phone and tablet. So we returned home and back we went to charge the phones and tablet at Dunkin Donuts, plugged in the the charger and began the charging. Not 2 minutes passed when a rude worker or manager told us that we couldn't eat here thought we weren't eating or seating and we all three of us father, mother and autistic son had a mask on and weren't even close to the entrance as it was about 15 to 20feet away. Customers had their own line and none were entering the dining area as they knew there were not allowed to eat there. They can see us and they know to respect the 6 feet apart rule, even though we were way farther than that. I think she just wanted to show that shes above all the worker's there. The others were nice enough to leave us alone the first time we were there. So we ended up leaving and thanks to a good soul at Big Lots let my wife charge her phone there. We used to buy donuts there all the time, but now I hate what was done to us there, we won't be going there anymore. Oh yeah I forgot to tell you that I had explained to that mean spirit woman our situation and who sent us there and she said she knew where that was even that she was from the area I think it was that she said. That only made it worst to think that people like that lived near me. All our meats spoiled from being without power for so long. The fridge was warm so milk and everything spoiled too. We just about had it, we were almost broke. Our hope was almost lost. When we got home our power had been repaired and the nightmare just past us thanks God and bless be Eversource for fixing...
Read moreThis is worst DDs in the Springfield and surrounding areas. And I've been to just about every DD in the Spfld, East Longmeadow, Longmeadow, Wilbraham, Enfield, & Chicopee locations. The employees are ghetto as you know what and have no manners whatsoever. No one even says hello at the drive through window, rather some sloppy employee just extends their arm out with a bag of who knows what lol. Half the time they don't even look you in the face when handing you the food, they're too busy chatting with coworkers to bother. You have to be careful when grabbing the bag from them. Twice they almost dropped my bags on the ground because they weren't even looking at me when handing over the food and coffee.
I'm not sure what was going on there today, but once the window opened there was a constant flow of hot air blowing out like someone had a leaf blower going. It's obvious the management at this location have no grip on the business or their employees. I don't know how this location stays in business.
You always have to check your bag because they don't ever get your order right. If you tell the employees you were missing something from your order, they act like you're making it up. I've had this happen about 5 or 6 times over the last 6 to 8 months. I've stopped going to this location, however once in a blue I tell myself to give them one more shot and every time they eff everything up. It used to be a pretty good location as far back as a few years ago, but it's straight garbage now.
You order hasbrowns and they're either burnt to a crisp and so hard they could stop a bullet, or shredded into mush and crushed into the little bag. I've seen on multiple occasions employees open mouth blowing air on the machine that cooks the hashbrowns. I overheard one of the coworkers telling a new hire, they have to do that to prevent a fire from starting up with the machine.
Good luck ordering any kind of coffee other than black. No one knows how to make a latte, caramel macchiato or any of their signature drinks. You're better off not to bother at all. It's like the employees get zero training.
If you want some good DDs, I recommend the Enfield Elm St location. The workers are very friendly there. They get your orders right and the rare occasion they make a mistake they're glad to take care of it...
Read moreStopped by this dunkin for a treat today. I got my regular order, a meduim iced coffee with caramel and almond milk. I get almond milk because I’m lactose intolerant. When I ordered and the man read back my order he said cream. I kindly corrected him and told him I wanted almond milk. He read it back to me again. Again he said with cream. I corrected him again and told him I wanted almond milk not cream. When I drove up to the window to pick up my order a very nice girl gave me my order. The coffee was great, but it tasted different from my usual. I throught maybe they just put a little more caramel. A few hours later I got very sick. I shortly realized that it was most likely the coffee I got at the dunkin today because I ate nothing else that would upset my stomach. I’m hoping by writing this post that it will bring awareness to the dunkin and any fast food employees that getting almond or coconut milk in there coffee is not a trend and should be taken very seriously. Some people, including myself, have real allergies and you could cause real damage to their bodies when you don’t pay close attention to...
